Having been to Raffles Singapore we were unsure what to expect but this hotel is amazing. Staff could not be more helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel was spotless. We enjoyed the bar and the menu had a good variety. The location was in walking distance of the night market . We only had a 2 night stay but would definitely go back and stay longer"!

We absolutely loved this hotel and would highly recommend staying here while in Siem Reap. Although it’s a luxury property, the staff were genuinely warm and welcoming, creating a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is well decorated and has an elegant historical vibe. Lee and Sok at the pool were wonderful—friendly, attentive, and always took time to chat. The spa team was excellent as well; the treatments were great value, and we ended up booking several. At the Elephant Bar, the bartenders always remembered us and our drinks, greeting us by name each evening. The valet and bellhop staff were equally gracious, even introducing us to the best tuk-tuk driver in the city, Mr. Sarem, who became our go-to driver and unofficial tour guide for the week. If you can, I would strongly suggest requesting Sarem when you need a ride, he was amazing. Every interaction with the staff felt personable and sincere—never forced or overdone. The hotel grounds were beautifully maintained, and the rooms were cleaned to perfection each day. We also loved the nightly historical excerpts left in the room—stories from explorers and historians who visited the area in the 1700s–1800s—which became a fun bedtime ritual for us. The only small note is that the hotel tends to attract an older crowd, with most guests in their 60s and 70s. It didn’t bother us at all, but it’s worth knowing in advance.

As locals, we’ve grown fond of socializing at the property and particularly enjoy visiting with the exceptionally lovely staff. Smart move promoting Nisha to Gin Butler (though I miss her stylish and colorful uniform at Elephant Bar)—she’s an amazing hostess. Malika also made our stay extra special, remembering us from prior visits and helping us throughout. Others have mentioned the grand pool, stylish rooms, and amazing service—all of which I agree with! But few have highlighted the fine food and beverage offerings, supported by the exceptional and attentive service that makes Raffles legendary. Many recipes are sourced directly from the royal family of Cambodia (the soft-shell crab and pomelo salad stands out in particular) and make a visit worthwhile on their own. Dining remains relatively inexpensive by international standards, especially given the exquisite nature of the offerings and top-quality, locally sourced ingredients. This elevated cuisine is paired with the highest level of service and attention to detail. En Yang noticed our specific preferences (tea for starters, coffee toward the end of breakfast) without us saying a word, and got them perfect after our first meal. I should note that this was while breakfast was occasionally busy, and he was responsible for other tables. Remarkable by any standard. His manager, Prim Prey, checked in constantly and even recommended local dishes not listed on the menu, prepared just for us (borbor samchok, bai sach mon). Prim Prey also noticed our preferred table—the quiet corner away from the buffet—and proactively reserved it just for us. On our final morning, when breakfast was particularly busy, we were delighted and extremely relieved to find "our" table reserved and perfectly set, just as we liked. This attention elevated our stay from amazing to unforgettable. We’re already dreaming of our next slaycation here. TL;DR: Book here immediately. It’s worth every penny. Treat yourself to afternoon tea, drinks, and dinner while on property. You’ll enjoy exquisite recipes from the Cambodian royal family while being treated like royalty yourself.

We loved this hotel for our two night stay despite a change in rooms from second floor front to third floor back due to slight road noise. The new room overlooked pool. Interior design is classical and traditional with a vintage elevator. Service was exemplary from all staff. Breakfast was outstanding as was our evening meal. Ambiance was relaxing . Well located too for Angkor Wat morning and evening visits.
