We had accommodation at another excellent hotel but chose to experience Raffles Siem Reap. We had a couple of drinks in the Elephant bar. It was quiet but atmospheric, coupled with great service (we tried the signature Raffles cocktail, it was very good). We then had a reservation at restaurant 1932. The food was lovely. Among the hits were scallops, salmon tartare and amok curry. All dishes had a significant Cambodian slant. Service was lovely, informative and helpful but not pushy. Thank you Socheata and team for making it a lovely night.

Oasis of relaxation, luxury and personalized grandeur!

What a fantastic hotel and fantastic personal service! The hotel is beautifully renovated keeping its original grandeur and atmosphere, like the original elevator! It was the low season so it almost felt like it was our home. We stayed for 4 nights and got upgraded to the suite overlooking the pool which was beautiful. Champagne breakfast was delicious and the complementary wine tasting was brilliant and copious! The hotel is very close to Angkor Wat and after our explorations it was a delight to chill out at the huge swimming pool. The pool bar provided free cold water, mojito ice cream and snacks. The cocktails were delicious. We even bought their special home blended bourbon! And despite the fact that the hotel is in the middle of town we could not hear any traffic. It felt like we were in an oasis of relaxation! We played tennis one afternoon and they provided good rackets and even new balls! The court was great. Whenever we wanted to eat out they offered some really good and fair priced restaurants. We enjoyed a traditional evening in the hotel which was great in a beautiful ambiance and delicious food! This is pure luxury combined with personal touch while giving you the impression you are staying at home with (wealthy) friends.

This is probably one of the best stays I've had at a hotel in SEA. The service was just phenomenal - every interaction felt like an added experience because of the little tidbits the staff would drop in while doing their jobs at an extremely high level. Attention to detail was very exacting. Everyone was genuinely friendly and seemed proud and happy doing their jobs. The hotel itself is extremely well maintained and absolutely gorgeous. Staying here was honestly the highlight of my stay in Siem Reap. Will definitely come back to Siem Reap just for the Raffles.

The top hotel in Siem Reap; elegant, classy and luxurious. Has amazing pool and tennis facilities. Cosy rooms that are well decked out. Very helpful, thoughtful and friendly staff. Even delivered a birthday cake on wife’s birthday. Amazing activities, cafe and restaurants. We didn’t get the breakfast but really amazing facilities.

One of my favourite hotels in the world. For people who - like me - love classic hotels that exude history. The friendly staff will make you unwind from the moment you enter the hotel. We were there in low season, so breakfast was 'a la carte'. The food and service were unsurpassed. The pool - where we often lay alone - is an ideal place to rest. Furthermore, the city is within walking distance and the temples are nearby. This was my third visit. And I look forward to the fourth one.
