This hotel exceeded our expectations on EVERY level. Food, service, room... everything is totally exceptional. The pool is a stunning place to unwind and chill after a long hot day exploring the temples.

The Raffles is a very special hotel. Starting with the welcome ceremony and drink. You are then escorted down a beautiful cool corridor to your large luxurious room. The bed is magnificent and hard to leave in the morning. All the public rooms are beautiful and so comfortable. The breakfast buffet is next level. Special call out to the chef who cooked the most perfect eggs benedict. The hotel has a stunning pool with lots of lounges and great pool service. All of the staff provided excellent service and especially Mr Pat Sambo, Resident Curator who magically produced seats on overseas flights home when we had to leave urgently. Within hours of my request for assistance we were flying home. Mr Sambo and his team are very special people and their care even continued after we arrived home, checking to make sure we had arrived safely.

A lovely hotel with incredibly attentive staff, & delicious food.

A beautiful hotel, with amazing service & wonderful food. The pool & grounds of the hotel are also fabulous. The location is also tremendous. We stayed in a ‘landmark’ room, which was large, beautifully furnished & very comfortable. However, being at the front of the hotel proved to be a disadvantage, as every morning at around 5:45am, there was a public outdoor aerobics class in the park across the street. The music used was loud, & with a typically fast drum beat. On the 2 mornings we were in the room at that time, we were awakened by the noise, which was frustrating. But all in all, a mostly delightful stay.
