A few months ago, we had an issue with valet service of the hotel and initially had difficulty resolving it. However, everything changed when General Manager Ken Hall personally got involved. His approach was professional, caring, and focused on ensuring guest satisfaction. We returned for Christmas, and our stay was nothing short of extraordinary. The Fairmont Gold Team went above and beyond to make every detail perfect — from the warm welcome to the exceptional service throughout our visit. We want to express our heartfelt thanks to Ken Hall and the entire Fairmont Gold Team for creating such a memorable experience. This is hospitality at its finest, and it’s why Fairmont Chateau Whistler remains one of our favorite destinations. Great work!

There was a mix up on our room reservation and the manager and staff went above and beyond to make the stay great for my family. The property is so well appointed and a top slope side destination in my opinion.

The standards have dropped since the last time we were here. The wait for skis in the morning is 15 to 20 min Then we need to go find the skis because they can't find them. The rooms no longer have the shower pods. The water tap in the lounge doesn't work. There are no longer sandwiches in the afternoon. The warm breakfast used to be different every morning, now it's the same buffet style with big spoons every morning. The ski stickers are no longer nice and printed. Instead we are skiing around all day with big white stickers and red sharpie with our room number. They used to serve us drinks in the morning at breakfast, and this no longer happens. There was only one robe in the room for our suite of 4 beds.

1. Double charge at check-in even though prepaid. Had to reach out to front desk to fix it 2. Room has housekeeping cleanser left in the bathroom 3. Hotel is crowded and restaurants are fully booked 4. Ask for late checkout as a courtesy for the double charge. Front desk refused
