Great stay, very nice and spacious rooms. Customer service from the lobby and checkin staff was lacking compared to other Fairmont Hotels.

arrived for 1 night during the pandemic, room was not clean, took another 40 min to get moved to another room, coffee maker and /or kettle kept blowing the electrical breaker, incorrect parking instructions were given for night parking The rest of the accomodation was as we expected and stayed at the Fairmont because of a higher standard hotel. Hopefully we can expect a better experience next time.

The Fairmont Palliser is a beautiful hotel in a good location. For our stay the front desk staff was attentive and welcoming. However, overall the hotel didn't miss an opportunity to make an unpleasant set of circumstances worse. Our group was planning to Ski Lake Louise until the resort closed and our flights started getting canceled. Fearing that the border was going to close we decided it was best to pack up and return to Calgary. Upon arrival this is what we found: We arrived to a hotel that was all but shuttered. I understand that the pool and spa were closed due to health reasons surrounding COVID19. Also, the Hawthorn was on a limited menu. When we arrived at the Hawthorn for dinner after a long day of trying to arrange flights at the airport and canceling our vacation the staff made us feel less than welcome. Understandably the situation was stressful, and they clearly didn't want to be there, although we quite literally had no where else to go. My buddy and I brought glasses of beer down from our room to join the wives for dinner and were made to finish the beer in the lobby before we could sit at the table with our wives. Our food came out late and at all different times. The front desk staff was great, the Hawthorn staff felt like they went out of their way to pile on and make things more unpleasant.

Arrived at the hotel and valet had my keys which was wonderful and I went right to my room. The room was large and lovely (although no upgrade) Dinner was exceptional. Gym was well kept. Room service breakfast was great. Fairmont Calgary is an excellent hotel

I arrived at the hotel quite a bit earlier than anticipated and the front desk staff were very helpful in making sure I had a room available and all I needed to work for a bit before my meetings began. The valet during my stay was very kind, helpful and always pleasant, calling me by name and making sure I was well looked after. The room was clean and well appointed. I will definitely be back on a future visit to Calgary.

When I initially booked this hotel for my wife, I was told the price included parking. When my wife arrived, it did not include parking. During my wife's stay spa services and room service were not available. While the reason for this was clear, there was no offer of a discount for the stay.

We had a lovely stay. The architecture is gorgeous, rooms and bed were beautiful, staff was friendly and helpful. We absolutely look forward to a return visit. The dining room’s “family style” sharing menu was a surprise but a delightful way to make the meal even better!

Very good. Service was exceptional. Only concerns (pointed out to desk on checkout) bath plumbing needs attention (room 225) - tap is very loose and difficult to control temperature as it tended to drift due to the weight of the handle. Also the spout was quite loose. I was experiencing spotty wifi - dropping connections and very slow.

We had great service, the staff is amazing BUT our rooms were freezing!!! I tried turning up the thermostats in all 3 rooms several times and it just wouldn’t go up. We called down for extra blankets and they were promptly brought up to us but something wasn’t right with the heat in our rooms. I booked a king suite with adjoining king room, all 3 spaces wouldn’t go above 19 degrees.

Fairmont is the brand! You could easily get similar or better experience in any other hotel nearby for cheaper price. My stay this time was average. Restaurant food unnecessarily expensive and the fish item I had that evening almost made me throw up... cost was $70 with a glass of wine... ouch! I will explore more near by next time.

Love staying with Fairmont and always enjoy it. I am a club accor member. I would say that your snacks in the mini bar are super weak and I never find anything I like of the 2-3 options presented.
