We did have a couple hiccups with our check-in, and check out experience. Adding the tip amount from the dining room onto the guest room was a little confusing and then there was some charges that we were not aware of or we’re not even asked if they could go on our credit card after we got that all sorted out in the end it was still a beautiful stay even though the room for the special 60th birthday guest wasn’t ready. The staff really did try to compensate for that and made Sandra feel special!

The sty was good, with a couple small hiccups. The front desk, valet and housekeeping were great as usual. The mini fridge in our room was not working, which I didn't realize until after I had placed food in it after our later evening check in and tried to retrieve it the next day to find it warm. We didn't need the fridge after that so I waited until checkout to let the desk know. Our first breakfast was wonderful, with our server checking on us periodically , making sure we had enough coffee, water, and clearing dishes. On Sunday I think the dining room was understaffed and I had been finished my food and coffee for at least 10 minutes before the server had a chance to check on us at all, then we had another longer wait for the bill. Neither were huge problems, but not fitting with the level of service Fairmont is known for.

Every staff member that we encountered throughout our stay, went above and beyond to make it a memorable. A great big shout out to the housekeeping team that located an item. I had left in the hotel. Thank you so much.
