The hotel offers great beach access and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The overall property was in good condition and well cared for. However, the experience was let down by a lack of clear communication from staff, which led to unnecessary delays and some confusion during our stay. While Ashlee stood out for being particularly kind and helpful, the general level of hospitality could have been stronger. Given the premium pricing, I expected a more seamless and welcoming experience. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’d return at the current price point

We have been regular visits to Barbados, and this was our first visit to Royal Pavilion. We found the hotel to be in an excellent location. Our room was tired, but kept well cleaned by your staff. Most staff were extremely friendly and helpful. On our 10 day visit, your venue attracted a number of special events. This limited beach access without unduly impacting us. However, the special events meant that evening meals in the Palm Terrace restaurant were not available to us for 4 nights and there were 2 scheduled and 1 unscheduled closure. In total therefore, it was only available on 30 percent of our visit. The Taboras bar restaurant is ok but by no means an acceptable alternative. We therefore had to eat elsewhere for evening meals and chose to support those restaurants after our first night. Our opinion, therefore, was that the $value of the special events was more important to the hotel than the $value of our visit, and we will be guided accordingly.

This is our third time staying at the Fairmont Royal Pavilion and it always feels special. Peter the butler greeted us with, 'welcome home' when we arrived, which sums up how it feels to walk in. Our suite was comfortable and was meticulously kept clean twice a day - thank you. The beach is incredibly beautiful. The food and drinks were great. The thing that is most special about this place is the team. They go above and beyond whenever we are there. Special shout out to Alison, Jason, Rea, Renico and Simon.
