Dear Mrs. E., Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback following your recent stay at Fairmont Royal Pavilion. While we are delighted to know that you enjoyed your first Caribbean experience and that there were many positive aspects of your visit, we are truly sorry that several areas of your stay fell short of the standards you rightfully expected. Your observations regarding the condition and upkeep of certain areas of the resort are appreciated as attention to detail is an essential part of delivering a luxury experience. Please be assured that your comments have been shared with the relevant teams for review and follow-up. While the signing process is intended as a record of charges and inclusions rather than an expectation of gratuity, I fully understand how repeated requests, would have negatively impacted your experience. This is certainly not the level of thoughtful, unobtrusive service we strive to provide and has already been addresses as a training point with our colleagues. Consistency and attention to detail are fundamental to excellent hospitality, and it is disappointing to learn that we did not deliver this reliably. While our culture is warm and relaxed, this should never be used as an explanation for service shortcomings, nor should it diminish the expectations of our international guests. Thank you for highlighting these opportunities rather than leaving them unsaid.
