All aspects of my stay were very good. In particular staff were very friendly and courteous. In particular Macky at cafe was exceptional.

Pool villa is worth it

Booked three rooms for our wedding. One room was the pool villa for us and two 1 bedroom apartments for our wedding party photo shoot. Upon arrival to our room we were greeted to a room full of surprises including wines, flowers and chocolates. Thank you to the staff for this very kind gesture. The pool villa is spacious with a nice bathroom, comfortable bed and a private pool looking over lush gardens. The food at the cosies restaurant was delicious. The gym is huge with a great selection of machines. Would highly recommend Mercure Darwin Airport to anyone travelling through Darwin or visiting the Top End.

A poor experience for several reasons. No clear signage to show Mecure vs Novotel. Had to walk our family 400m with 4 x suitcases and bags through multiple gates to get to our room in the dark. Poorly lit path. Room keys didn’t work. No way to call reception. Had to walk back and rudely told there is nothing wrong with our keys, the door lock must have the issue someone will come later. Finally got into the room 20 mins after check in. Room was very outdated, fluorescent lighting, noisy, not worth $420 per night with no breakfast included. Went to check out and told I have $30 owing for breakfast when I had paid at the point of sale. Was challenged by the staff member- can you show me the receipt then? Staff at cafe rude, no fruit juice available at 11am. At no point during our stay were we greeted, welcomed, asked there was anything we needed, or thanked for staying. Staff do not seem to have basic training and no sign of managers/ supervisors present. I will not stay at an Accor property again personally or for business.

Plesent stay at the Mecure in Darwin for work. Very close and convenient to the airport. The Pool looked great it was closed last time for refurbishment and well worth the wait. They say it's the biggest pool in the NT I also grabbed a bite at the Cafe with friendly welcoming staff

Great room, very convenient for transferring through to Asia. We had a great afternoon lounging around the new pool. Something for everybody. Staff were helpful and always willing to go the extra to make our stay enjoyable. Always great being able to walk to the terminal.
