First time to Kata Beach . Great stay in a Novotel Avista, the kids love the pool and the kids club which is always filled with activities. One thing to remember is to bring floaties for younger kids :) Yok is especially helpful during my stay. Thank you!

Hotel location up a steep hill! Got shuttle service but need to wait every half and hr! Harder to go back to hotel room. Must wait in the sun for the shuttle or pay 200baht for tuk tuk! Not recommended for those with children at all! Breakfast 1 of the tasteless and min choices we ever seen. Saw 1 of the staff handling waffle with her left hand without using gloves! Yikes! Rooms are dated and TV are not smart tv in our room! Nothing to watch! Rooms floors are always condensed for some reason. Very sticky micky! The staff call us b4 12 to remind us to chk out by 12 , what a customer service 🙄 Received email to do online chk in but walk in still ended up queuing and going manual chk in so what’s the point of online chk in?? They ask deposit of 2k baht!! And my friend was asked 1k baht for deposit! No standardization! Overall don’t waste your money in with this hotel!

I'm trying to think of positives but honestly this place is fairly run down and tacky. The hotel is an average 4-star quality hotel charging 5-star prices. The rooms are run down despite how they look in the pictures. Our balcony door constanly jammed and locked people on the balcony, our bathroom tap fell off, the shower leaked and turned the bathroom into a swimming pool requiring 4 towels to soak up the water after anyone showering. It was ridiculous. The food is really average and overpriced - like airport quality, and the service was slow and sloppy. Recommend NOT getting the buffet. The pool is nice but they play the same cr*p, cheesy music (Ed Sheeran etc.) on repeat ALLLLL day every day (and into the night). It was torture. I can't recommend this hotel unfortunately. It was almost instant regret on arrival (we booked a week). Thankfully we had another week elsewhere to enjoy. On another note, Novotel Kata (and unfortunately the rest of Phuket) is overrun with Russians who really struggle to smile at anyone which I think negatively affects the Thai people (and anyone else in their vicinity). I've been coming to Thailand for 30 years (first trip to Phuket in 1990) and since the Ukraine war and the influx of Russians I have noticed Thai people becoming less friendly and jaded, and I suspect it's because they are now overrun and getting treated poorly in these places. That may be the last trip to Phuket for a while...

Super excellent stay.. what a nice resort it was. Starting from the checkin process to service and then see off - all with loads of love and smiles. Front desk was super helpful and arranged for our trips as well. Nadear front desk manager enabled smooth ci co process and was very helpful. Special thanks to Apple at the restaurant served delicious meals to the family and became friends with my little one. Good clean spacious rooms, big nice pools and awesome spa at the hotel. Family friendly hotel, close to beach— recommended fr everyone visiting Phuket.

Нам очень понравилось в Отеле Novotel Phuket, все сделано для комфортного отдыха гостей, чисто, уютно, уборка каждый день, отличные завтраки. И очень хочется отметить работу команды на ресепшн, внимательные, сразу решают все вопросы, всегда приветливые. Спасибо огромное May, девушка на ресепшн, очень внимательная, знает свою работу на отлично, в первый же день у нас сложилось отличное впечатление об отеле, так как заселение в номер прошло без заминки с огромным вниманием. Обязательно приедем еще!!! Спасибо !!!
