Very disappointing experience for 5 star hotel. Upon arrival used the sofa on balcony to get soaking wet as the pillows where totally soaked with water. My corner room clearly was not designed well so the rain came in and soaked all. Next I opened the fridge which was not working and about 2 liters of water drained me and the floor. In the evening at 9pm wanted to take a bath. After 5 minutes my bath was still empty and the bath salt was gone. The plug did not work. After calling reception they fixed it but it took 1 hour as it was a major repair job. If you pay 300 dollars per night for a 5 star hotel you expect things are working and dry. This hotel was a major let down. Please avoid as they can not live up to 5 star and the prices they charge. For Accor members also please be informed they have closed their lounge. Which was an other let down for me as Platinum member.

First I have to mention that Me and my wife stayed here for 4 nights from 1st to 5th of November and it definitely exceeded our expectations. That was our second visit of Avista Hideaway and our first one was on Feb 2023. From the early beginning as I had some concerns about my previous 2023 visit, Mr ABHI who was a very humble manager told us that we were upgraded. Our room was spacious, clean and amazing with great location near to amenities of hotel, Avista has 3 great pools, one of them is adult only, but I think the main pool is the best with great pool bars. The breakfast has greatvariety of delicious choices from different countries. I want to thank VISHAL who was a great respectful manager of the main restaurant who serves us a complimentary smashed burger which was my favorite burger through my whole trip and also the next day send us complimentary fruit plate by pool. And I want to thank KIRAN and PAER who were so welcoming bartenders and served us good cocktails at the pool bars. Frankly our stay was absolutely sensational and although it was after experiencing 3 different 5 star resorts which could make it boring, it was beyond our expectations and literally one of my best experiences of Thailand resorts ever as a multi traveler especially in Thailand case😁 We recommend Avista 100 percent 💯 as your first choice to stay in Phuket and definitely come back to Avista in our next visit of Phuket.
