A wonderful refuge in Rio with an outstanding staff and atmosphere. We loved getting to know the neighborhood of Sante Teresa and the hotel provided and excellent free walking tour. Restaurant is excellent as well.

We had the most wonderful stay and cannot say enough good things about this hotel and its staff. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and genuinely focused on making our experience special. A huge shoutout to Sophie, the manager, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, as well as R-something, at the front desk, who was absolutely amazing — so kind, professional, and helpful throughout our stay, I was told she can even give all the hotel instructions in French too. Their hospitality truly made a difference and made us feel so well taken care of. The room was beyond anything we could have imagined. We woke up to a view of Christ the Redeemer right outside our window, absolutely unreal — a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Everything from the service to the accommodations exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rio and would not hesitate to stay here again. Truly an exceptional experience from start to finish.

Excellent experience from vibes to the taste of the food. I had the octopus and wife had the steak both was great. English speaking friendly as well. Thiago was our server and was great.

Five stars hardly feel like enough. From the moment I arrived, it felt like stepping into a quiet oasis perched above the city. The rooms are polished without being pretentious, the views stretch out over the hills in a way that makes you stop and stare, and every corner has this effortless charm that doesn’t feel manufactured. What stood out most was the staff. Every interaction felt personal and deliberate, like they weren’t just doing a job but actually proud to be there. The general manager in particular deserves recognition; her presence is felt in the best way possible. Visible, attentive, and clearly leading by example—there’s a level of professionalism and warmth that elevates the entire experience. Breakfast on the terrace was a highlight: fresh fruit that tastes like it was picked that morning, coffee strong enough to wake the soul, and that breeze rolling in from the gardens. Even room service felt tailored; nothing generic or phoned in. This stay set a new benchmark. I left already planning my return.
