The location on La Canebière is excellent. It is an unpretentious hotel that gets the job done if you just need a place to sleep. That said, the atmosphere feels a bit cold and clinical; it lacks warmth and character. Functional, but impersonal.

Pokój privilege był zaskakująco mały. Pierwszy raz od bardzo dawna zdarzyło mi się spać w pokoju, w którym na wejściu od razu było łóżko. Przecież nie jesteśmy w Japonii, żeby upychać ludzi w możliwie najmniejsze pokoje. Standard w porządku, jednak lokalizacja pozostawia wiele do życzenia - między 20 a 23 lepiej wokół hotelu nie chodzić.

Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez apprécié le confort général de la chambre, mais sommes désolés que la taille et l’agencement de celle-ci n’aient pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes. Nos chambres ont effectivement des configurations différentes au vu de l’architecture unique de notre bâtiment, vos remarques sont précieuses et seront partagées avec notre équipe afin d’identifier des améliorations possibles. Nous sommes désolés que vous n’ayez pas pu trouvé la fontaine à eau. Celle-ci se trouve à l’entresol, juste au dessus de la réception dans le lobby de l’hôtel. N’hésitez pas à solliciter notre personnel, présent 24h/24, pour tout conseil ou besoin particulier. Great hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms are clean, and while the area can be a little noisy, that’s Marseille and La Canebière, it’s part of the charm. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the Old Port if you want to catch a boat and enjoy the beaches. The breakfast area is also very good, with a wide variety of food choices to suit different tastes. Sherazad, the breakfast manager, went above and beyond, not only doing her job exceptionally well but also taking the time to suggest places to visit and helping us navigate the city. Her kindness made a real difference in our stay.

I have recently stayed in this hotel, the room is lovely , the hotel is comfortable, slept really good , buffet breakfast was lovely for those who want something stress free. Despite what some reviews say , this was overall a good experience , the location is ideal , walking distance to main touristic attractions. Of course like any big city you will see that there are certain characters hanging about the place but the police station is right up the street from the hotel, and the police is often patrolling up and down. After a stressful and difficult arrival in France , Lorenzo welcomed us at reception. His calm demeanour was contagious immediately, he was a pleasure to deal with. Adrien was fantastic. Any query I had , he would get down to immediately without hesitation. I am a light sleeper and got moved to a lovely comfortable and noise free room in 0.2 seconds after requesting it. He is a professional and he will get far in his career & life. He maintains a professional profile and works hard. Most importantly, these two employees went beyond their area of work as they helped me track down my suitcase that I had left at the airport.. they were so tempestive in resolving this , Adrien dealt on the phone with the conversation as my French is not good enough, Lorenzo also assisted. After less a than an hour he had made sure our suitcase was put aside safely aside for us and easy to pick up the next day. I can’t say thank you enough. Adrien sei grandioso! This goes with saying all the other staff was also amazing. A girl at reception whose name I don’t remember, gave me amazing recommendations for a good crème brûlée! She was 10/10. Please tell them.
