Got off to a bad start as the beach was being renovated and for 5 days it was just clanging and diggers which wasn’t tranquil or relaxing, it was stressful and gave us a headache. However, the hotel kindly upgraded us to all inclusive and to a one bed suite. They couldn’t do enough for us to make sure we were happy. Also to note some items are not all inclusive so branded ice creams and smoothies and food at the beach bar. Which I did say felt more like a 3 star than a 5 given all inclusive in a 5 star should mean exactly that. The wine was nice though. I did raise the issue of food allergies not indicated as I have a lactose allergy, but the chef and staff made sure I had good and varied food thereafter. Lots of kids so if you want a quiet stay that isn’t for you. Also at night you can hear noise from the atrium below the rooms even at 1am. I think the staff there are very helpful there probably just needs to be double the work force to cope with busy times and cleaning. All the loungers are gone by 8.30am and the chlorine in the pool must be lethal as it turned mine and my daughter’s blond hair orange. We did a day in Dubai it takes ages in a taxi due to traffic. But was a nice change. The hotel needs modernising it is dated generally but we ended up having a nice time and swam with turtles. The bars get a bit of a long Que at busy times. There is a really nice water front seating area which is really nice and quiet. We ate at one of the other restaurants and that was nice. The staff did try really hard to make us feel happy. There are buggy’s to the beach which come every 5 mins and the walk isn’t far. I think from the photos it’s hard to see that there is a busy road cuts across the beach to hotel area. There is loads of construction work in the area so you can hear a lot of noise at times. At times the communal bathrooms were not clean. The indoor pool and spa area was great and a jacuzzi. I used the gym which doesn’t open at the same time as the pool which I found a bit odd. The steam room was fine but the door didn’t hold shut so most of the time the steam had all been let out. The sauna was good. Fresh towels for the pool daily which is appreciated. I would say it had the potential to be a 5 star and certainly in areas but overall I think due to lack of staff and needing updating it feels more 4 star. Taxis always available outside the hotel which made life easy.

Excellent service, accommodation and quality of the hotel. No complaints about the quality. Good food. Checked in immediately upon arrival. The hotel room category was upgraded for free, they gave a large two-room suite with a good view. The cleaning in the rooms is excellent, thanks to the manager Jitu

Very comfortable stay, and authentic arabic experience. Jitu made sure we were comfortable. The food for my toddler was heated and provided for us whenever asked. Would highly recommend for the warmth and great customer service. The recreational activities are also great specially for kids.
