Mercure Hotel Dortmund Centrum 4성

The level of standards you expect from a Mercure or really any Accor group hotel. The service though was particularly outstanding despite the hotel being extremely busy. Catalina Ciesielski stood out among an outstanding group on reception going above and beyond to deliver outstanding customer service consistently throughout my 2 night stay. A credit to her training and particularly the Mercure Dortmund. Well done and thank you.

Great hotel , in great location .All you need for a stay in Dortmund. Carpet looking a little tired but modern looking reception.Very close to shopping streets,many cafes, the shopping arcade & walking distance to train.

This is comfortable hotel in the centre of the city close to the shops and a variety of eating places. It is between two U-barn stations (Stadgarten and Reinoldkirche) and an easy walk from both. I arrived by train at the Hauptbahnhof and walked in around 15 minutes.

A solid walk from/to the station. The usual high quality in the rooms with a fine bed, desk and wardrobe. Breakfast was wide ranging and varied, both cooked and more traditional bread/cereals. The only irritation was having to go to YouTube to find out how the Tassimo Coffee Maker worked (the video said the printed instructions supplied were useless (!) They certainly could be clarified better. Also, once I'd worked this out, there were not enough supplies

It was our first visit to Dorthmund. I traveled with my two children.Our room was big enough for three people, comfortable,clean and had nice view. Location is great. We needed about 5 minutes to get most significant attractions and about 15 minutes to get railway Station.our room was cleaned each day. We'd like to stay there next time

It was good to stay in Mercure Hotel Dortmund Centrum. It's very closed to central station. You can walk to central station 5-10 minutes. Rooms are good enough. Receptionists are excellent. Thaks for all.

The hotel is in the very center of Dortmund, near the mayor house, and at the walking distance from the central train station in Dortmund. From there there are good train and bus connections, including the bus for the Dortmund international airport. Near by is a very good pizzeria, La Osteria, with very friendly staff.

This was my first stay at this hotel. I found the hotel to be comfortable and convenient. It is close to the center and the concert house where I was attending a piano recital. The room was crisp and clean. The excellent ventilation made for good sleeping. Staff were friendly and efficient.

I stayed in the Mercure Hotel Dortmund Centrum for 3 nights, on arrival the hotel staff were very pleasant and assisted me with all my needs, the hotel is clean and modern and very close to the centre of the city. My room was clean and with everything i needed as i would expect from a Mercure, although it was at the front of the hotel which at times was a little noisey with traffic also my room was right next to the service lifts which was a bit annoying as it was in use until quite late and the early on in the day. Breakfast was lovely with a very good selection for all tastes. On the whole a very nice hotel but with a few niggles, this wouldn't stop me returning to stay again though.

The review of our stay in Mercure Hotel Dortmund Centrum could have been great, because the hotel has excellent rooms, locations and meals. Unfortunately, there were some disappointing episodes. First, we booked our stay over internet to a fixed price, we thought. To our surprise, the price turned out to be almost 10 % more expensive, which was explained with “Betten Steuer”. Never heard of such extra tax, and actually we feel it was something the receptionist invented to charge us extra. A very bad policy from the hotel. Secondly, the personnel serving dinner (we dined twice in the hotel), need to be trained to put customer in focus. There were only a few tables in use, but it was almost impossible to get in contact with the personnel to get the table cleaned, to order more drinks and even to pay the bill. We had to seek up the personnel ourselves to get any attention. This is not how it should be.

Stayed here overnight on a journey. Welcome was warm and friendly, the barman could not have been more helpful in helping us to choose out drinks. In a central location and close major routes passing through Dortmund it is an outstanding place to stay.

Great efficient service, worth calling them a few days before arrival if you have any queries. Also recommend booking far in advance for very reasonable prices. Hotel bar very good and showed German football highlights on TV Saturday night(I was with my 13 year old son , so bars/pubs in Dortmund a bit too boisterous!). Wi-Fi was excellent.

We stayed at the hotel as it seemed to be close to the christmas market area. We found that it was ideal as it was only a few hundred metres away from there but not close enough to have hundreds of people about. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Ideal location for the main shopping area, bars and restaurants. Clean tidy and modern hotel. Thoroughly recommend.
