We are currentley at The Sebel Yarrawonga, and I must give a massive shout out to the entire team and in particular Debra in Stock & Barrel. We went in for dinner at 7:30 Sunday night and the tram seemed under the pump! BUT the service standards that the service team displayed was exceptional! You could see they were all working as a team and helping each other out. As a customer, the service was not impacted by what was clearly short staffed. The food was amazing, 10/10 for both the food, drinks and service. The resort itself is stunning, we love the infinity pool over looking the lake, the rooms are lovely and well appointed with modern amenities. Overall we had a wonderful stay, will be sad to leave, but look forward to our return.

Great facilities and picturesque location. Views were very nice from the room which is modern and cleverly functional. Gym is well equipped and infinity pool is very inviting. Staff were great, resturant for dinner and breakfast was great also, Overall a very pleasant stay.

Great service, fantastic food. Wonderful location to relax. The view over the lake and combined with the weather this week made the balcony a great spot to get some work done in piece and quiet.

We have been going up to the Sebel since 2 weeks after they opened going thru lots of changes different GM,s I think 5 the one now was saddenly to busy to have a chat with a Diamond Accor member but that's ok. It's not the GM,s but the fantastic team on the floor in the restaurant ,bar and house keeping that keeps as going back. We had a lot of meals at Stock an barrel with a new concept at the weekends a Buffet selection which was so wide an of course if you wanted something not on the buffet easy to get,OH at the buffet eggs cooked anyway you want. That was great keep it on. We stayed on lvl 3 looking on too the lake in some terrible weather but the rooms are very well heated an with the Apts almost a full kitchen (hotplate ,oven , the pots an pans you need, full size frig/ freezer and a Microwave)so if you wanted something you could but with the quality of the food why bother. I would like to make sure that when you go try the pizza as the oven is in the middle of the restaurant at the end of the bar the pizzas are seriously good . The big advantage in staying in the apartments is the you have a washer/dryer in the room sure they take a time but you go out and on return its all done great saving when you get home on the full wash dry cycle about 4 hours which is standard for this type of washer. We had a 6 day stay and the menu well gets a little boring the food great , however the Sebel has a new head Chef "GUS" who did take the time to have a chat so we got to taste the new menu that comes in on the 14th or so. We had scallops my wife and I pasta dish I had one of best prepared steaks I have had in a long time. His menu is really good if allowed The only down side is the cost of wine I think needs a review downwards but like most eateries grog does come with a heavy markup perhaps introduce a House wine The RACV Members club has some.

'Studio Balcony Lakeview' - and rooftop from inside!

We have just spent 3 nights at the Sebel. We booked a Studio Balcony Lakeview, but did not realise that you could only view the lake from the balcony. From the bed and chairs inside, we managed to see the roof of the building next door! Despite our room being serviced daily, our dishes were not washed at all! When we checked in, we were not given any information about the the facilities. When I asked about breakfast, I was told it wasn't included in our package, despite the fact that we had paid for it! Fortunately they did apologise for this oversight. We had dinner in the Stock and Barrel restaurant on Friday night. We waited 50 minutes for our main course which was lukewarm at best! On checkout we were charged for Spa treatments which didn't have......fortunately this was reversed. Considering how much we paid for our long awaited 'luxury' getaway, we are so disappointed with our experience!
