They should charge half the price!

For €170 a night we were disappointed with this hotel. It is a very basic hotel with good reputation but not worth the money. We stayed in Holiday Inn Express for half the price. No tea and coffee facility, not even a glass to hold your tooth brushed! One pillow each and one chair! No wardrobe!

Dear 908naheedk, Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to rate us here. It is a pity that we were not able to completely impress you. I would like to take a closer look at the points you mentioned: The room facilities are realistically described and illustrated on our homepage. Water (still and sparkling) and hot drinks (until 22h) are available free of charge in the lobby. Please do not hesitate to contact us, we will be happy to provide you with a carafe or larger glasses. For reasons of hygiene, we do not use glasses in the bathrooms. Plastic cups are not an alternative for us, as we would like to avoid single-use plastic in our hotels. You will find corresponding information on our displays in the lifts and in the lobby. We would have been happy to help you directly on site with additional pillows. Our team is there for you 24 hours a day. Did you mention this? Our prices are daily rates and vary depending on occupancy. We hope that the points listed did not spoil your stay with us too much. Good hotel in great location

Stayed here a couple of times whilst visiting our daughter who was studying at the university. Great location close to the train/bus station and short walk into the centre of the old town. Rooms comfy and spacious with everything you need including free hot drinks from the machine in reception (when it was working). Reception staff friendly and helpful.

A good location, newer Ibis, front desk staff was pleasant and helpful as hotel parking was full so directed us to public parking deck a short walk away. Hotel is easy walk to old town. One of my Accor benefits was “welcome drinks” and since we had 3 rooms there were a few drinks. The bartender was unpleasant and refused to accept the card received at checkin. The room was hot but when open windows the street noise too loud to sleep. I wanted to call for assistance but there is no phone in room so had to make an international call to get the front desk person at the hotel as already in pajamas. We requested a pillow that arrived with no pillowcase. So second international call to request a pillowcase however told they are not available in the evening so he sent up a hand towel to lay on the pillows.

Great location with the central bridge just around the corner. Cross the bridge to an awesome brew pub at the water front (Neckarmueller). Less than 10min walk from the main station. Clean rooms with a modern style that still relates to the town. Friendly staff with smooth checkin and checkout. And best of all, free coffee/espresso/latte/tea/water which is not at all common in Germany. Very good value for a very reasonable price.

Excellent as a central and comfortable home base

This hotel is excellent as a home base, when you visit Tuebingen and the area. It is conveniently close to the train station and in walking distance to all the sights in the old town. Our room was comfortable, clean, and the sound insulation is excellent. You do not hear the noise of the road or the trains. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is available at 18 Euros. This may sound high, but it is excellent, and you can forget lunch! For persons arriving by car it is somewhat awkward to get to the hotel. Tuebingen's building sites all over town are an exercise in frustration for locals and visitors. Nevertheless this place gets high marks for friendly, helpful staff, location and comfort!

The construction site in front of our door will be finished by the end of May. Our own restaurant will be open from 3:30 p.m. where you can enjoy great food.
