(I'm writing a short review cuz gtg sleep) Excellent service, food was very good especially the breakfast, very nice view with balcony, pull-out couch with TV in every room, luxurious. Swimming pool (very warm) had really nice lights with also a gym, we were on the top floor for our room, we had 1 master bedroom, a small kitchen with coffee maker, a living room with pull-out couch, we ate fish 'n' chips facing the sun set (wonderful & bizarre).

Went over for a weekend break. The location is good, but there are other properties at the same location. Construction sounds and sights dominate this hotel. We paid a premium price for this, however it wasn’t worth it. Poor staff interactions, noisy dirty rooms, sub-standard food and a complete lack of care and ownership dominated the stay. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

The Novotel Geelong is perfectly situated in the town only a few short meters from the esplanade and beautiful walks. Lovely modern room with a balcony and a mini bar. The most comfortable bed and pillows. The Novotel breakfast is superb catering for your every wish and staff are friendly in that unique Australian way. A two night stay has come to an end, thank you Novetel for a very pleasant stay.

Staff in the restaurant are excellent. On the website, it states rooms are refreshed daily. Asked for daily serving and again came back and room not serviced. With the amount of money paid, this should be an absolute minimum that the rooms are cleaned and bins emptied. No one advised us of the construction until the day before we arrived.

I am sorry to hear you were unhappy with the daily servicing of this room, this is an expectation on request and for it not to be delivered is disappointing so I am sorry about that. In regards to the construction, this is advertised on all websites and booking platforms as well as in our prearrival messaging information that comes out 1 week prior to your stay so I am sorry if you had missed that, we have attempted to be as transparent as possible.
