L'hotel è in posizione comodissima, centrale e fronte baia. Ho potuto usufruire di una camera con balcone con vista sulla baia, davvero bella. Lo staff è gentile e disponibile e la colazione varia, però c'è stata qualche nota non del tutto soddisfacente: attualmente (gennaio 2026) l'hotel è in ampliamento ed i lavori sono stati organizzati ad hotel attivo, provocando disagi non da poco in termini di rumore (fortunatamente ero al 5^ piano, ma si sentivano); la moquette della camera è pessima in termini di pulizia; la mia camera includeva anche le pulizie quotidiane (ma non è così per tutte le camere), ma per certo non è mai stato passato l'aspirapolvere, nè le cialde per il caffè aggiunte, nè il minibar rifornito

(I'm writing a short review cuz gtg sleep) Excellent service, food was very good especially the breakfast, very nice view with balcony, pull-out couch with TV in every room, luxurious. Swimming pool (very warm) had really nice lights with also a gym, we were on the top floor for our room, we had 1 master bedroom, a small kitchen with coffee maker, a living room with pull-out couch, we ate fish 'n' chips facing the sun set (wonderful & bizarre).

Went over for a weekend break. The location is good, but there are other properties at the same location. Construction sounds and sights dominate this hotel. We paid a premium price for this, however it wasn’t worth it. Poor staff interactions, noisy dirty rooms, sub-standard food and a complete lack of care and ownership dominated the stay. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

The Novotel Geelong is perfectly situated in the town only a few short meters from the esplanade and beautiful walks. Lovely modern room with a balcony and a mini bar. The most comfortable bed and pillows. The Novotel breakfast is superb catering for your every wish and staff are friendly in that unique Australian way. A two night stay has come to an end, thank you Novetel for a very pleasant stay.
