Pleasant stay! Small rooms, but designed nicely and very clean. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was good (also small breakfast area). Location wise, most monuments are quite the walk but i didn't mind. Very convenient that it was very near to Gare du Nord, and metro is also not far away. Area with many nice restaurants in walking distance. Overall recommend!

This Hotel is a very good, clean, comfortable, wide, good location hotel. Very near to many restaurants, and to the shopping area. I recommend it than many hotels in Paris, staff is very friendly also.

We stay at this hotel because it is only a ten minute walk from Eurostar Terminal at Gare Du Nord. The reception personnel are friendly and competent, the housekeeping is excellent and a comprehensive buffet breakfast is available served by nice staff. We stayed one night before travelling to Bordeaux and returning later in the week for a further two nights. The hotel looked after our excess luggage until we returned. My only complaint was why we paid nearly as much for the one night as we did for the two, I felt this could not be right and fair. Maybe because the days were split there was no way of securing a three night booking price.

We arrived early and the front desk took our bags and gave us instructions on the metro, bus and walking nearby. It was really a perfect start. Our suite was beautiful and quiet. The breakfast was awesome and my husband said the best eggs he has ever had. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. A special thanks to the manager!

Nice room and, as usual, excellent personnel attitude from accord group. This will likely become our usual spot for when in Paris for work or as a couple. The place is surprisingly calm for the location.

stayed 3 nights at rates from EUR330~360, standard room. Only 1 bottle of 500ml mineral water for the entire stay. The hotel says they do not provide bottled water for each night of stay. The taxi that has been called by the hotel is not the same as the one you hail in the street and has no meter and is very expensive, so make sure to ask for the ordinary taxi. There is no particular view from the room window and the street was noisy until late at night (music, people partying etc). Other than these points, the room was small but clean, the air conditioning was working, service was good and breakfast was ok for the price.

Booked a two-night stay at this hotel and on the second day there was a problem with the toilet. I addressed the problem with the receptionist who promptly offered to move us to a different room. the new room turned out to be even bigger than the one we had. Overall, very friendly and helful reception. Would definetely stay again.

Came very late in the night and got room no 602. It was a damp smell when we came into the room. Then we felt it was very wet on the carpet. No wonder about the damp smell. Had to change room. It took almost 45 min to change in the reception (02.00). Staff didn't know to say hello/bonjour. Not very serviceminded. We were unlucky that the elevator broke down after 1 day. Didn't get fixed for the rest of our stay (4 nights). Stayed in 5th floor...

We can imagine how surprising it could have been, and even though we are glad that you could be move to a better room, we would like to give you our most sincere apologies. As it was explained during your check in: our elevator was not broken but was upgraded to be accessible to disable people. As much as we understand the disagreement of not being able to use the lift, please understand that those type of maintenance are a legal obligation that all hotels need to respect. No technician was to be seen working on the lift as the pieces to be changed first have to be custom made for our own elevator. Once the measurements were taken, we had to wait for those pieces to be realized before installing them. In order to avoid our guests any disagreement during this time, a porter was at your disposal to carry your bags; and a little gift was waiting for you in your bedroom. The hotel was conveniently placed near to the Opera and Saint Denis regions, close to the Gare de l'Est and the Metro network. Rooms were small, but clean and well-equipped, although there was some disturbance from the courtyard early in the morning from people living around the hotel. We elected not to have the breakfast, but otherwise the bar was convenient. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the level of English was very good. We enjoyed the stay.

Comfortable and spacious room overlooking a peaceful courtyard despite the hotel's close proximity to the Grands Boulevards. Public areas a little limited but a good breakfast served in the hotel's well restored vaulted cellars.

Fantastic hotel with good location (close to the metro station) and wonderful, very nice, very helpful and very friendly staff. Interesting design of the room. Breakfast consists of hearty and delicious meal.

Hotel ok, ale tylko ogrzewanie pokoju słabe. Druga istotna sprawa: dlaczego jako uczestnik Le Club o statusie platinuim dostaję tylko jeden drink powitalny. W każdym innym programie lojalnościowym bez problemu otrzymuje się dwa, czyli dla każdej osoby z pokoju. Czy Accor strasznie ucierpi na jednym dodatkowym drinku? To nawet nie jest irytujące, to jest po prostu żałosne. Nie widzę potrzeby przedłużania statusu w Le Club. W sieci Acvor, bo nie ma żadnej sensownej motywacji. Jest jeszcze wiele innych ofert na rynku hotelowym. W hotelu nie akceptują online check-in.

The hotel was in a nice area close to Montmartre, Rue Lafayette and very close to the metro. We stayed in the two bed apartment which was lovely. It had two ensuite bedrooms and a seating area with a kitchenette. Very spacious. The breakfast was great, with freshly squeezed juices. Would definitely recommend it.

Our trip was my husban's belated Valentine's present to go to the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe horse race at Chantilly. I chose the hotel because we wanted to be close to the Gare de Nord, in a respectable area and I trust the Accor/Mercure brand. Our Privilege room was not ready at 12 noon as per the booking form but that was OK because we went to lunch and started our sightseeing. The good points of our stay were the location, the clean and quiet room, the room temperature and the comfy bed. The slight detractions from an excellent stay were the rude/unhelpful breakfast staff on the Saturday morning, the average cooked breakfast, the lack of hangers and storage space in the room and the flimsy paper cups for tea and coffee. The latter was very disappointing because one of the big selling points of a Privilege room is the Nespresso coffee maker. I realise that this is a minor issue but in a way it was more annoying because otherwise I really liked the hotel and it could have been an excellent stay. The rude breakfast lady said "Madame demande beaucoup" to her colleague after I had to ask her help politely for 5 things when the breakfast bar and crockery were understocked. Things improved on the Sunday and Monday after I complained.

Horrible beds and horrible service

The service was horrible, we arrived to the hotel early so the hotel said they would put our bags in a locked room. When we arrived back to the hotel at 6 pm, our bags were kept outside in the open of the lobby. They never cleaned the room, stained sheets, dusty cabinets, and dirty rugged, never vacuumed. We would bring our coffee up stairs, they kept the dirty cups. Stay at other Mercure!

A privilege room that didn't feel like a privilege room

+ The location of the hotel was a good 5-8 minute walk to 3 Metro Stations which made moving around Paris tourist spots very accessible. + The very accommodating front desk staff who made sure we were comfortable while waiting for our room. The front desk staff were always willing to help. - The privilege room didn't feel like one since it not in the main building which we found kind of strange. The mini bar (refrigerator) was inside the clothes closet --- even more strange. We've stayed in other privilege rooms of other Mercure Hotels and this was definitely not what we expected. There was even an unpainted portion of the wall above the door which gave us an impression that the room was not really ready for client occupancy. It was quite disappointing.

Old haunt that never fails.

We use this hotel frequently. A ten minute walk from Gare Du Nord instead of an hour in the taxi queue. It has an intimate feel of a boutique hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are friendly and competent in equal measure. We are returning next week for some more of the same.
