Room ok - bathroom made for Flat Stanley!

Room small but ample for our needs. Aircon was a waste of time meaning the room was very stuffy. Tje bathroom was a whole different story, you have to walk in backwards to sit on the loo as there is no room to turn around. The basin overhangs so far that you can’t move and are wedged in! Poor poor planning to say the least. Receptionist on arrival was not very helpful and kept us waiting longer than necessary. Would not stay here again

We stayed here as we were attending a venue on a saturday night. Checked in and was told my credit card details.would be saved on the computer.for 5 months, unsure as to why. Was given the key cards, not told which direction to go or what time breakfast was. A tad more communication from receptionist would of been nice. Room ok (103), a bit on the small side but we did want a king size bed. Bathroom cozy and the cricketer in the shower kept making me jump. Those that have stayed will know what I'm going on about. Quiet rooms, no door slams and could not hear people above which was nice. The air cooling took some figuring out, again instructions would of helped during the summer time. Breakfast, plenty of choice, however hot food was cold. May go up a star next time we visit Leeds.

We stayed here for one night after booking for a concert, unfortunately it was cancelled full refund given. However could not get a refund on hotel. The room was large with a comfortable bed, no view from window (104) very small bathroom which makes no sense as room was easily large enough for another foot of space in the bathroom. The most disappointing thing was the aircon, I booked this hotel as it advertises as having it, it’s completely useless and does not cool the room at all and given there is no window to open makes the room airless.

Stayed here a few times in the past, will NEVER stay again. Staff need to go on a customer service course. They are very unprofessional, no curtesy, manners, unfriendly welcome. If I treated my customers like that I would be looking for another job. We took our 2 small dogs with us as the hotel is advertised as pet friendly & have rooms to accommodate ( which they do have) their policy states well behaved dogs can be left unattended in the rooms. Yet after a night's stay I was informed that the dogs could not be left unattended & had to be taken everywhere I went, how is that possible when going to a show etc & in a city centre? I had a discussion with the hotel supervisor explaining their policy & what is on line & her response was we can change our policy at anytime & I had to obey by it, meaning I could not leave the room without my dogs, basically making us prisoners in the hotel. I have never felt so uncomfortable in a place I have paid to stay in & disgusted in the attitudes of the hotel staff.

Fantastic hotel if you're going to a concert at the arena, just a short distance away. Check in was a bit slow, but apart from that I can't fault it. Good spacious room - we had the Premium Double with sofa bed. Very comfortable bed & some quirky Yorkshire detail which was fun. Parking is available at the nearby Citipark & is offered at a discounted rate by the hotel - they validate your ticket upon checking out which gives you 50% off a 24 hour period of parking. One thing to be wary of is the onsite Indian restaurant - Me-Ha. We had a bad experience there, but I've done a separate review for that
