I’m a customer of Accor Network! Third time I’ve been in this Hotel! While some Hotels let the rooms being degradate, Novotel keeps the rooms cleaned and very comfortable! We loved to stay here! Sure we’re going to come back

Unacceptable cleanliness standards. Avoid at all costs. Furniture, bedsheets, doors, handles etc. The employees and the management don't care, either. The location is nice, but nothing can excuse dirty rooms.
Damp in all rooms - would like a refund

As you can see I am Silver Accor and I have never complained previously about a hotel I demand a refund for my stay at this hotel. I was originally offered Room 564 which had mould on the walls and ceiling and smelt very strongly of damp the whole time. The dampness was also visible on the fridge door which had heavy condensation on the outside to the extent there was a pool of water underneath. The hotel staff moved my to room 580. Which had exactly the same problems. When I asked for another room, I was told the damp problem was an issue throughout the hotel and another room would not improve the situation. As such I spent 4 nights in a damp hotel which caused some breathing and sore throat problems. This spoiled my limited time in RIo. I suspect the hotel is a health hazard. I have no complaints regarding the hotel staff. I have photos of mould and condensation if you require. I have not reviewed the hotel online and do not, at the moment, intend to share my thoughts on social media. COuld you please refund the total amount. Andy Accor 3081033039262024

Spectacular view from the rooms at the front - with 16 lanes of traffic double glazing would have been a good idea ! Location in Botafogo suited us well. Not the most successful of interior designs for a Novotel though. Seem to have condensation or leak problems in at least some rooms. Also has a wonderful view of the toilets just as you enter the restaurant - closing door would help this.
Still good, but the clean was worst.

I stayed in this hotel many times, but in the last time I had a problem with the clean. When I arrived the chair and the cups of the room were dirty. The room smelt bad too. I think that the Accor was minimized the clean service. Well, the others services are OK, mainly the reception.
