We always stay at Novotel New Plymouth when travel to this region. I like the location and always sleep well at this hotel. But recently stay at the hotel on the Christmas party night. The noise from their function room was loud and I could not sleep. I think the function room was not designed to be concert hall. The loud bass boom sound was unpleasant. I need to call the hotel reception team and the team so kind to find a room for us to sleep on the far end opposite from their function room. Another thing that would like to mention. At breakfast I have found canned peaches that served at the breakfast cereals and yogurt corner was fermented and created some bubbles. Yes, I had those peaches and with some funny taste. I thought they soaked those peaches in soda water. I did not get sick just a bit tummy ache. Well, I think I picked a wrong day to visit this time.
