Best thing out of a series of bad things Turkish Airlines did for us was book us this hotel. The service and staff were incredible and special thanks to Gülay, who was so helpful and eased our minds a bit! Thank you to the staff!!

Worst stay in 5 stars hotel

Check-in started with the receptionist unable to find my booking, which I showed her. She speaks no language other than Turkish, and this is in a 5-star hotel. Then, inexplicably, they charged me $5 more, and no one could explain why. Fortunately, my wife speaks Turkish fluently, but even that didn't help—the staff couldn't explain the reason. There was no duty manager or anyone else available. Fine, I had nowhere else to go and stayed. No one explained where the elevator was, how to connect to WiFi, where breakfast was, or what time it started. I asked about the welcome drink, and they gave me 1 voucher for 1 person—thank you, I didn't use it. On the way to the room, the corridor lights didn't turn on with motion (they should). The room was not as shown in the photos, but I had no one to discuss it with—my Turkish isn't good enough, and I was exhausted from an early flight. No upgrades, no welcome amenities in the room, despite this being common practice even in Ibis hotels. No toilet brush in the bathroom, the room was chilly due to drafts from the windows, water didn't drain in the sink or bathtub (though photos showed a shower). No razor or toothbrush in the room. Breakfast in the morning was worse than in Ibis—no meat or sausages at all, only black coffee. We spoke with someone from management about the service, and they just said "it happens, sorry, we can't help." At 11:40 AM, they kindly called the room to remind me of the 12 PM check-out. Thank you, I remember perfectly. In summary, this hotel does not meet the service standards of 5-star Accor properties. I feel I overpaid for nothing

Not a Real 5-Star Experience – Weak AC, Poor Breakfast, and Broken Facilities

I have to say that this hotel really does not deserve 5 stars. The air conditioning is extremely weak, which made the stay uncomfortable. It’s also the first time I’ve ever seen a broken hair dryer in a so-called 5-star hotel. Another major issue is breakfast. Although it officially starts at 7:00, by 8:30 most of the food is already gone, which is very disappointing. Overall, the experience was far below expectations. In my opinion, this hotel is not even at a 4-star standard.
