Super handy, reliable hotel next to Saigon airport

I have stayed here a number of times now from durations of one night to that of just over a week. In the past 4 months, I think i would have easily stayed on 4 separate occasions. For me it remains a super handy hotel next to HCM airport for those late or early flights. I love the free shuttle service (note: you need to organise via email with the hotel in advance). I have always found it to be punctual and I have never had a problem with being picked up. I also love the buffet breakfast, there is just so much choice. More importantly when on the rare occasion something goes wrong the hotel listens and fixes whatever the issue may be promptly. I always stay in the one bedroom apartment suites that are huge & super comfortable. The only reason I gave a 4 was because I could not give a 4.5 as this time my requested room - “airport facing”was not available & I only had views of the buildings next door which I find a bit glum. Still for only a two night stay this was acceptable. You seriously would be hard pressed to find a more suitable option in this location for this price range. I will continue to stay here for those early/late flights rather than gamble with Saigon traffic.

When i am transiting, i usually will stay in ibis as they provide free shuttle bus services to airport. This time i try the studio king which is much bigger than the standard queen. It has a refrigerator, electric stove and microwave, etc. Bathroom is definitely much bigger. One TV in bedroom and another one in living room. Both sides of the bedside do have UK/US power poonts. Do note that you will need to unplug the alarm clock on the right side in order to use and need to use abit of strength to push your 3-pin plug in. Shower water pressure is strong and aircon is cold. Breakfast is ok, though limited choices. There is a Starbucks at the lobby too. Overall, this is the best hotel if you want to be very near the airport.

The Best Ibis !!!

We chose Ibis Saigon Airport as it is very close to the Airport ,and the offered Free Pick up and Drop off Transfers . The Room Rate included a full Buffet Breakfast . After going through the absolute Chaos that they call Immigration , we eventually made through Customs . We Found our meeting place where a Young man with an IBIS sign was waiting . He escorted us outside and Called for the Vehicle to pick us up . A few minutes later we were on our way . We arrived and out luggage was whisked inside and we were soon checking and were soon arriving at our Room . What a surprise . We have stayed at Ibis in Sydney & Melbourne and were very surprised that this Ibis bore no resemblance to the small cramped rooms in Australia . This room was Modern . A large TV in the Separate Bedroom and another in the Lounge Room. There was a Breakfast Bar . A stove top and good size Fridge . Plenty of storage space . The Bathroom was excellent . Nothing like the Plastic Bathrooms in Australian Ibis . A proper shower & Wash basin with plenty of bench Space . The Hotel has a Rooftop Bar where we spent some time having a Drink & watching the planes takeoff & Land . As it was raining we did not go in the Rooftop Pool , but we checked the water and it was quite warm . We both had a good nights sleep , The bed was comfortable with nice pillows . The Buffet Breakfast mostly catered for the Asian market but it was still good for eggs & Bacon , although Sausages were of the Chicken variety . Our free Transfer to the Domestic departures quick & efficient . This would have to be the Best Ibis we have ever stayed at.

I had a great stay at Ibis Airport Saigon, and it was exactly what I needed after a long flight. The early check-in at 7 AM was a lifesaver, as I was exhausted from traveling. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making the whole process smooth and hassle-free. The hotel has some fantastic features that really stood out. The Starbucks cafe on-site was super convenient, and the rooftop area is a great place to relax with lovely views. I also appreciated the well-equipped gym, which was perfect for a quick workout. Overall, this property offers excellent value for money, and the service was outstanding. I’d definitely stay here again when traveling through Saigon!

The ibis saigon airport was perfect. It was extremely easy to book the FREE airport shuttle by email. They were waiting outside customs and we were on the shuttle in minutes. Our flight was delayed to midnight and it was not a problem. As most ibis’ the rooms are small but efficient. The air on worked well. The hot water felt great after 2 flights. The breakfast was varied and great. The express was so good at the breakfast buffet that I saved money by not going to the lobby Starbucks. I wish we’d had more time to go to the pool and rooftop bar. Everyone was so friendly!
