The Hotel Des Arts was wonderful. The decor is a nice mix of the traditional and the colonial. The employees were amazingly nice and there were lots of them. The pool bar was lovely and the food and drinks yummy. We had adjoining rooms and they were incredibly spacious and well appointed. We were sick the whole time we were there and they were very helpful. Tram Huynh, one of the guest service managers, even got some construction below us to stop so that we could all sleep. Excellent service!

Dear Ms. Bockmann, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your kind words following your recent stay at Hôtel des Arts Saigon. While I am truly sorry to hear that you were unwell during your time in our vibrant city, I am heartened to know that our team—especially Ms. Tram Huynh—was able to offer support and provide the care and comfort you needed. Your thoughtful recognition of her dedication means a great deal, and I will be sure to pass along your lovely comments to her and the entire team. It is wonderful to know that you still enjoyed the atmosphere, décor, and our rooftop Social Club despite the circumstances. We continuously strive to create a serene and inspiring environment for all our guests, and your feedback reassures us that we are on the right path. We sincerely hope your next visit will be under brighter health, and we look forward to welcoming you back for an even more enjoyable and restorative experience. Warmest regards, Philippe Le Bourhis General Manager Hôtel des Arts Saigon – MGallery Collection

MGallery Saigon: A Scene of Silence, a Curtain of Light

heorshe Opinia zatwierdzona w TripAdvisor

This review is based on my personal stay at Hotel des Arts Saigon MGallery Collection, reflecting impressions of the service, interiors, and atmosphere in line with the MGallery brand. It’s a place where every detail—from soft light to the whisper of silence—becomes part of a story, like an old mansion where time slows, and the soul finds inspiration. And here’s what lies behind these formal words: My night in Saigon began when a local resident, whose motorbike was loaded with groceries and topped with a white goose, gave me a ride to the hotel. Silence enveloped me, streetlights glowed softly, and the Hotel des Arts Saigon MGallery Collection stood elegant, with a hint of mystery. The porter watched with surprise but nodded, opening the door—and I stepped inside. I arrived late at night, when Saigon drowses but doesn’t quite sleep. Motorcycles hummed in the distance, streetlights flickered, casting soft shadows, and the city felt alive. Stepping into the lobby, it seemed to exhale. Soft light reflected off marble floors and dark wooden panels, with golden accents on the furniture painting shadows of the past, as if a curtain of light opened a scene of silence. There was no music—only silence, light as a whisper of fabric, allowing me to just be. At the desk, I was greeted—not as a guest or client, but as a friend returning home. Quietly, without rush, they were expecting me. I handed over my documents slowly. An early morning check-in, on the edge of possibility for hotels of this level, felt natural here. We lingered at the desk, chatting with short phrases and gentle pauses. It wasn’t politeness—it was like continuing a shared dream we’d both entered through different doors. “Breakfast will start soon. Would you like to try?” he offered, and it wasn’t from the hotel, but from him. Simple. Human. His tone was even, warm, without pressure. I wasn’t planning to. I wasn’t hungry, just wanted to rest. But I nodded, and another staff member, appearing like a shadow, guided me to the lift. I went up to my room, dropped my things, washed up. Silence embraced me, and I felt at home. The thought of breakfast lingered. I went down to the hall, where morning aromas already drifted. The hall spread out with space, wrapped in silence, where only a few silhouettes moved softly, like part of this morning ritual. Everything—serving, light, shadows, table arrangement—fell into place perfectly, like an ideal moment before touch. I took a few photos, trying to capture the harmony, though I knew the camera couldn’t convey its depth. I ordered Vietnamese pho, its aroma blending with a subtle spice, and drank cold robusta from a glass with ice, savoring its bitter taste. I knew I’d want to sleep, that coffee was a mistake. But I was in Vietnam. Refusing an iced robusta in a place like this? Saigon wouldn’t understand. And neither would I. The room greeted me with silence. Soft light caressed light wooden accents and pristine white linens, creating a sense of coziness, like an old home. I slept well. Too well. In the evening, I went to the lounge: light dimmed, shadows lengthened, and the air carried cocktail scents. An elegant tea set stood on a counter, and I sat by the window, gazing at Saigon lighting up, reflecting the evening. Before me stood a glass of wine. The lounge sang in octaves—eight words weaving silence into a gentle balance: stability, moderation, silence, flow, ritual, geometry, calm, dissolution. The tea set on the counter was a point of equilibrium, cups standing perfectly like notes in a melody. Lines of light on the floor guided without words, and I felt: everything here breathes right. It was here, in this silence, that the image for my book fully formed. Comfort and service can be bought, but conditions for inspiration can only be created. And this hotel succeeded. Precisely. Almost unnoticed. Before leaving, I napped in the afternoon, and through the thick walls came the sound of a drill. In any other hotel, it would have annoyed me—always did. But here, I smiled. The hotel wasn’t perfect. It was alive, with the city’s breath seeping through the walls. After the nap, I went to the Social Club on the rooftop to capture a final frame: Saigon’s panorama, where skyscrapers pierced the sky and street chaos danced below, like a living picture I’ll never forget. I didn’t call a taxi. Not for savings—Saigon still led, and I wanted to keep dancing. I asked for a map. They brought a paper one, unfolded it on the desk, and said: “We’re here. And there—your way,” pointing where Pullman’s silhouette loomed against the daytime sky. That was all I needed. Two doormen opened the doors—one the left panel, the other the right. Light sliced through the dim hall, like a curtain closing a scene. I stepped outside, not saying goodbye, just continuing to dance with the city. The hotel didn’t vanish. It stayed behind—like a perfectly lived scene, like silence after a great performance, where every element fit. No need to look back. It remained in me. And perhaps, next time, I’ll come just to rest. To enjoy.

Dear Heorshe, Thank you, sincerely, for this breathtakingly poetic reflection on your time with us at Hotel des Arts Saigon. Reading your words felt like walking through a dream—each moment vivid, textured, and filled with quiet resonance. You’ve captured the soul of what we strive to offer—not just service, but a story; not just comfort, but inspiration. Your stay, as seen through your eyes, became a gentle ballet of light, space, and sensation—of Saigon at twilight, silence at breakfast, and the delicate choreography between guest and hotel. It is rare and humbling to read such a layered account where every detail, from the iced robusta to the folds of a paper map, has been woven into an emotional tapestry. That our spaces and people could provide not just rest but creative clarity—this is the highest compliment we could ever receive. You have left us inspired. We hope, with all sincerity, that you return when the time is right—not just for another stay, but to write a new scene. Until then, may the dance continue. Kind regards, Tram Huynh Guest Experience and Quality Manager

If a close friend asks me which hotel I would recommend for a trip to Ho Chi Minh, my answer would be "Hotel des Arts Saigon". This hotel has friendly and professional staff, the best food in the East and the West, and great facilities. During my stay here, breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails were all excellent. I will definitely be back on my next visit. I would like to express my warm gratitude to duty manager, Linh HUYNH. You have impressed me as the best manager I have ever met in the Globe Hotel chain.
