I am staying at ibis Tan Son Nhat for more than 2 years. It is so convenient to walk to the airport. The breakfast team, including Nhi, Uyen, Long, and others, are friendly and helpful. The front desk team and the sales director, Ms. Chi, provided excellent support for the guests. I highly recommend ibis for both long and short stays due to its convenient location and outstanding services

The reassuring and easy welcome by the hotel's easily locatable shuttle co-ordinator in the arrivals hall gave an incredible first impression. The shuttle to the hotel was quick with traffic being the only thing stopping it from being faster. An equally friendly welcome from first rate front desk staff at the hotel and I was soon in a very good, very reasonably priced hotel room with a great bathroom, shower, and exceptionally comfortable bed. The hotel had a real buzz and atmosphere, combined with feeling very homely - it instantly became one of my fondest hotel memories. The rooftop pool area was breathtaking at night, stylishly lit with views over the surrounding area and the airport. I ordered room service. It was inexpensive, great value for money, delivered quickly and it was delicious food of very high quality. What can I say other than - if you have an overnight layover or two at SGN airport - I don't believe you can do better than this place. I could have happily stayed here for a month.

Location. About 10 minute drive from the airport. I had already arranged a transfer with the hotel and was met by their guy at Meeting point 8. Room. Had a King Studio which was very nice and had separate lounge and kitchen area away from the bedroom. There were large windows in both the bedroom and lounge giving views of the airport, binoculars needed. The room was below the pool on the top floor so gave the same views just slightly lower. Breakfast. Very good selection and plenty of it. General. Key card needed to use the lift as well as access the bedroom. Pool is on the top floor, level T. Good size pool for a rooftop and a few sun loungers. Watch out for broken tiles round the side of the pool with very sharp edges. Good views of the taxiway at the airport from here with the sun behind most of the day and most can be seen as they taxi either on arrival, departure or both. Food and drinks served here in the evenings. Check out the basement, B1 level, of the Menas Mall shopping center for excellent places to eat and a gourmet supermarket. Out of hotel, turn left and a couple of minutes walk. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would I stay here again? yes.

Super handy, reliable hotel next to Saigon airport

I have stayed here a number of times now from durations of one night to that of just over a week. In the past 4 months, I think i would have easily stayed on 4 separate occasions. For me it remains a super handy hotel next to HCM airport for those late or early flights. I love the free shuttle service (note: you need to organise via email with the hotel in advance). I have always found it to be punctual and I have never had a problem with being picked up. I also love the buffet breakfast, there is just so much choice. More importantly when on the rare occasion something goes wrong the hotel listens and fixes whatever the issue may be promptly. I always stay in the one bedroom apartment suites that are huge & super comfortable. The only reason I gave a 4 was because I could not give a 4.5 as this time my requested room - “airport facing”was not available & I only had views of the buildings next door which I find a bit glum. Still for only a two night stay this was acceptable. You seriously would be hard pressed to find a more suitable option in this location for this price range. I will continue to stay here for those early/late flights rather than gamble with Saigon traffic.

Best hotel near the airport

When i am transiting, i usually will stay in ibis as they provide free shuttle bus services to airport. This time i try the studio king which is much bigger than the standard queen. It has a refrigerator, electric stove and microwave, etc. Bathroom is definitely much bigger. One TV in bedroom and another one in living room. Both sides of the bedside do have UK/US power poonts. Do note that you will need to unplug the alarm clock on the right side in order to use and need to use abit of strength to push your 3-pin plug in. Shower water pressure is strong and aircon is cold. Breakfast is ok, though limited choices. There is a Starbucks at the lobby too. Overall, this is the best hotel if you want to be very near the airport.
