Worst Room Possible

I can’t believe anyone designing a room where the bathroom is separated from the bedroom with a thin curtain and the toilet which has a gap of maybe 15 cm at the top and opens straight onto the bedroom. Amazingly stupid. We booked & paid for 2 nights and left after one. The breakfast was particularly ordinary. The staff were lovely which is why the hotel gets 2 stars.
Behind on sustainability

It's a nice hotel and staff is very nice, but compared to other hotels it has not yet progressed to higher sustainability standards. Water in the rooms comes in small aluminium cans, as a couple you easily consume 10 per day, considering the nr of rooms, that is a huge amount of waste every day. Recycling aluminium is very energy intensive, so it is absolutely not green. Many other hotels use refillable water bottles which produce zero waste and are also more stylish. They even claim on the can that aluminium is the most sustainable packaging material in the world which is a completely wrong statement. There is only one water dispenser in the gym to refill your bottle. Otherwise they boil water which is again energy waste and kills germs but doesn't filter heavy metals from the water. Bathroom products come in plastic containers. Whoever is the sustainability manager at Accor must be deep asleep.

A true urban oasis, Hotel des Arts Saigon Mgallery is a beautiful escape from the city - with the stunning Social Club rooftop bar and pool to the AMAZING food from Chef Angela, the warm, authentic hospitality from GM Jean-Pierre and team, and environmentally-friendly beWater in every room instead of plastic bottles - this place is paradise!

warmly hosted by Hieu, Bao @social club, taken cared by Ha, Hien during Canape time and Thinh during breakfast time. Thank F&B for an attentive and sincere service making up the shortage of dining quality due to Covid-19. Nevertheless, shocked with the lack of genuine & professional level by FO supervisor Ms “U”. Booked a deluxe and she gave diamond guest a deluxe without View to the city (1911), i tried to explain the price which she wrongly assumed as 2 category upgrade (deluxe with executive lounge access) was simply increased to cover executive lounge benefit whilst Diamond like me didnt need to pay for what was entitled. Immediately asked her to check my profile preference at checkin time (bathtub is a must in my profile, she never checked anw). After pretending to the screen for 30 seconds (im used to this bahavior), Supervisor “U” falsely advised that higher category room was not avail as i demanded, ha ha i showed apps with dozens avail grand deluxe rooms and suite. Straightforwardly i told her to use my Suite nite upgrade if she is not keen to offer free one. The lady “U” contintued to provise fake smile and asked me to go to “deluxe room without proper view” first and would come back to me later on application of suite nite upgrade. She never called back. Not just this, miss U failed to advise my full benefit and didnot provide benefit letter to confirm this whilst she confidently said that it was in my room (not advised me on free mini bar, breakfast hours on which restaurant, confidently and wrongly advised canape hours.. shame). Still dont understand whilst ignorance became the signature of MGallery FO.
