strategic hotel but…

stayed here for 3 nights since it has strategic location; close to Monas, US embassy and many more. we were located on 2nd floor and its close to the meeting room. the thing that I dislike the most is when they have meeting without informing, so the rest of the guest that doesn’t know or understand have to use another lift… a bothersome especially during my check out days when i have to bring my bags and luggage i have to use lift from restaurant and cross the stair, it was heavy. amenities ok, special thanks to room boy, restaurant staff, doorman and security… they did their job well and makes us feel welcomed during our stay, but the room facilities was not that great. the hot shower didnt function well—had to wait for so long to make it hot and instead of hot its just mid, wont say it was warm either. toilet was so bad, had to do infinity flush while taking a dump… the room’s wall were so thin that during my rest time i can even hear other guests alarm really loud! can hear people running through corridor and can hear the moving chair from upstairs. it was annoying. the varieties of the food is so-so but i dont really like any of their food, if anything i only like the jamu provided. good for location but poor by service.

My first time staying at Mercure Sabang and it’s a great experience. The room is spacious with a big comfy bed. The breakfast spread is great! I personally enjoined the traditional corner. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Leni who works at restaurant for breakfast is very attentive! Definitely one of the best places to stay in the center of Jakarta!

I had a wonderful experience at Mercure Sabang Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, professional, and attentive, making check-in smooth and quick.
