We have just left this morning after staying here for 4 nights. We didn’t find the rooms ‘ small’ as some people have said and the cleanliness was also not an issue, we only asked for our room to be cleaned a few days but when it was done it was done to a high standard. Comfy bed, helpful USB sockets and found the bathroom to be of good size. Tram right outside of the door which was super useful and every member of staff we came across spoke really good English and were friendly. The only thing I would say is that the tram and road are fairly noisy so as others have said if you are easily disturbed a back room would be best! Would stay here again for sure.

Honestly was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I stayed 2 nights on a business trip. I originally was in a back facing room on the 2nd floor and asked to change as the room was dark, the chairs was faded and stained and the wallpaper was coming off the wall a bit. The phone also was dirty. I moved to a front facing room on the 4th floor which was even worse. The entire floor smelled like cigarettes to start and this didn’t go away either. The room was dirty, the carpets and curtains had stains. The bathroom was dirty. I even found a toenail in my bed with red nail varnish (see red nail varnish stains). Truly I felt dirty myself after staying here. By this point I didn’t even bother to go back and complain because clearly the staff don’t care. The total came to about €215 euros which was honestly a waste of my money. I would never stay here again.

As a family we would highly recommend this hotel. Rooms were spacious, clean and with amenities that in the UK are rare. We only stayed 2 nights but would have been happy to stay longer. Great location. Staff should be commended on their customer service. Brussels is a vibrant city and after a long day exploring we were more than happy to return to the hotel. And I must say the Parking at the hotel was just perfect. Safely tucked away in an underground space beneath the hotel with easy access directly from one of the two lifts. Many thanks….

Simple, smart hotel, good location, but better to get a higher floor to avoid the noise from the busy street and bus stop. Comfy beds and a/c to deal with the heat. Good breakfast. Major issue was the elevator was broken and looked like it had been for a long time which meant a long trudge up poorly lit stairs to reach my floor.

Avoid - staff fail to act when there are disruptive guests

The location is excellent. Rooms are clean and functional. Breakfast is acceptable. Unfortunately the staff failed to act when there was excessive noise from 11.30 pm onwards in one of the rooms. The initial phone call was answered by reception who promised to investigate. Despite many repeated phone calls which they kept hanging up on and multiple emails they did nothing. There was screaming, loud talking, laughing, multiple people in one room.the noise was ongoing for many hours. All my years of using Ibis I have never experienced such appalling customer service. Avoid at all costs, the staff won’t help you with any issues relating to noise.
