Music corner.

Visited as part of a coach party. Everything was good but the special feature is the music corner with an electric piano and acoustic guitar which guests are encouraged to use. This led to some of our group having a bit of a singsong. Great idea.

Beware of leaving your vehicle in car park

Even though this is a nice hotel, do not leave anything in your car, we left our luggage in car as was only staying overnight and took an overnight bag in, car was locked and had blacked out windows, our luggage was stolen from the boot, broke lock on drivers door, only found out when reported theft the cameras in car park are fake and they didn't shut the gate to entrance, hindsight is wonderful thing, just want to warn others as hotel were very unhelpful

Formula One Monza Weekend

Hotel is fine. There’s a McDonald’s and a Lidl right outside. This place is nowhere near Milan and nowhere near Monza. Travelled here for the formula one and it’s fine if you’re willing to spend the money on Ubers/taxis. For reference, one way into Milan was averaging 62€. Then you have to get the train from Milan to Monza. Another option is an Uber to Rho or Saronno this is about 30€. Then you get 2 trains to get to Monza. The trains are super cheap so if you’re willing to spend that much on Ubers it’s your choice. However, you’re looking at a minimum of 180€ for the whole weekend. Like I said the hotel itself is nice, and not their fault it’s kind of advertised as being in Milan. There is a bus option to get to the train stations, but this wasn’t straight forward and some of the busses/trains stop running after a certain time. I would also suggest travelling back to Milan as there are always an abundance of taxis/ubers there, coming back into Rho or Saronno is cheaper, if there are any Ubers about. Struggled to get assigned a driver some days. Grand Prix was good. I would suggest not getting off at Monza, but at Biassono-Lesmo. You walk 2 minutes to the track from here. If you get off at Monza there can be hour long queues for the shuttles to take you to the track.

Birthday Retreat

We booked this hotel via love holidays for my 40th birthday away with the wife. The hotel was really good for us despite the reviews it has had of other visitors. We had a really god time in terms of sleeping and accessibility. We had hired a car so for us, distance did not matter. The cleaners were really good and they did a fantastic job. New sheets and towels every day and the room was cleaned well. The reception staff were very helpful, however, the same cannot be said about the kitchen/breakfast staff. One of the ladies was always rude and miserable. I think she even though i had left a piece of bread in the toaster for too long and then smoke the kitchen out when in fact a young boy who had no idea how to use a toaster left the piece of bread in it. Breakfast itself was very good for what we paid. They had the basics and it was enough to keep us both going till lunchtime. There was always parking available outside for our car that we had hired. Also, a Lidl next door came handy for snacks and there were eatery outlets nearby but we didn't have time to visit them. All in all would happily stay here again.

Pleasant stay for this hotel though wish the TV had more channels. Totally recommend local commune Lainate for exploring

So in reviewing this hotel, people will say that it is a far away location from Milan. In all honesty, yes the distance isn't the problem that the hotel can not deal with, but in terms of what you get for the price and it's locality to the Lidl next door and a sushi place across the road and the Mcdonald's you don't have to spend too much in terms of catering yourself or having. I do acknowledge that the use of taxis from the hotel will be costly if that's your only form of transport. Alternatively if you actually research the local transport from outside the hotel is quite easy to understand if you do a little ahead research on Google Maps. Or talk to the hotel itself. I found it was quite easy to take the bus z617 from outside McDonald's to lampugnano bus station which then can make the Traveling a little bit easier by giving you access to the red line Metro of Milan which does passed most of the ideal locations like the corducio which is a posh shopping center or or Cardona station we just a very handy central hub of the line of the metros which will help you connect to anywhere you need to go. I had booked a four-day holiday and my holiday agent had said that this hotel was cheaper to use then using all the hotels in the city centre as they would have been costly. I mostly put the blame on my travel agent as they weren't much helpful but the hotel on the other hand had the most perfect customer service and if you explore its local commune of it you actually find out that you can explore a local attraction called the Villa Litta to which I totally recommend a visit as it's Gardens and historical outlook are a must see. There is a gorgeous fountain which is really good for selfies. Plus you get a nice look of what Italian life looked like even though it's next to a busy motorway. The facilities in the rooms were perfect and the bed was very comfy to sleep on. There were enough outlets for us to charge our devices and I admit that the photography that was the main decoration of the room did help brighten up a bit. At this point of the review I would like to commend the receptionist Lorenzo for being exceedingly helpful and always having a positive attitude. There was another receptionist but I didn't grab her name but you had a lovely blonde hair. Thank you for your help as well Some people have mentioned that the breakfast does feel a little bit limited, but cut up frankfurters and scrambled egg with salami cheese or ham is a perfect quick on the go breakfast for me and the staff were very attentive in keeping the tables clear. My only cons of this hotel is that our TV only had one channel to which I really did enjoy watching a lively opera that was filmed at the Colosseum in Rome during my holiday they were also going to do it at the Milano Cathedral which sadly I kind of missed but would have loved to watch on TV and then wave at the camera. All in all, pleasant stay at the hotel would hopefully booking again in future I just wished the Buses work later into the night.
