Adequate airport hotel. Easy to get shuttle from airport to get there as timetable was on website, then booked shuttle to airport on check in. Well priced, eating options close to walk to. This is a adequate airport stay option, no issues at all

I have travelled the world and have visited many places and airports. On the 4th of Nov 2024 we arreived at this airport early, due to our cruise liner clearing out the last cruise visitors. Unfortuntly the cruise liner cleared us out early for their own reason, no argument with that. So we arrived at Leonardo da Vinci Rome at 11am and our flight was not until 2030. A long time to kill. To say entrance one was packed would be an understatement, everything was placed in illogical locations and without any clear indications of what was where. Eventually we located Easyjet desks, more by luck than help. The main notice board indicated our flight at the check in gate. This you have to be careful with because that does not mean you can check in until 3 hours before your flight. Unlike the rest of the World who do not show the gate until you can check in. At this ground floor reception there are only two places where you can buy food or drink. There is nothing else that is it make the best of it. Eventually when you do manage to get to go forward, you have to go thru security, which you have to experiece to believe. I must admit this is the most effective body search I have every had (well done). Then forward and to be met by more shops than a city center, all over priced naturally. Plenty of food outlets, Italy and costly. Finaly the duty free, that is a joke, I was only interested in the drink so cannot comment on the rest. Most things were 20 to 30% off, but even with that, I could buy it cheaper in Tesco. Needless to say, I will do my best to avoid this airport in future.

We visited for one night before flying out orf Leonardo Da Vinci early the following morning. Nice, clean, and spacious rooms (we had two superior rooms). Friendly check in/check out and bar staff. The beds were firm, but that's how we like them. We used the airport shuttle which was on time. Our trip was at capacity, so not sure what would have happened if anyone else wanted to use it (airport shuttle operated by another company).

The hotel bed was the worse ever! When we arrived the room was not ready for an early arrival, despite having called and asked. We were told an early check in was possible. The room only contained one towel for a booking of two people. The bed was as hard as plywood and the pillows were not of good quality. The internet was not password protected and very slow!!!!! Lastly, instead of a standard coffee maker, we were provided with instant coffee packets. Don’t waste your money on this place.

It does its job as an airport hotel. It’s not flash but it is adequate. Parts of the hotel are showing its wear & scuffed by the large number of stays here. Rooms are a good size & the bed was comfortable. There is a large TV with lots of channels but next to none in English. The walk in shower had plenty of hot water. I found the breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold dishes, not gourmet but adequate. You will need to catch the hotel van to the hotel about ten minutes away. Way too far to walk. There is a charge. There are taxis but the distance is a bit short for them. Like all airport hotels it’s overpriced for what you get but it’s adequate for one night before a flight.
