I stayed here for an event and the room was so spacious, comfortable and very clean . The staff were nice and welcoming, they made conversation with me so made checking in a very welcoming process. We had a drink at the bar and the bar tender was very professional and quick with our drinks. The price is amazing for where it is.

There’s not a lot to criticise about the Pullman but I didn’t much warm to it. It’s some way out of the city centre so it can feel like a schlep getting back. Obviously if it’s for the Arena it’s ideal. The room was perfectly ok but the bed was a bit hard and the aircon never seemed to warm the room up, only cool it down. So it felt a little chilly. There was a fridge and tea & coffee but they forgot to replenish the sugar and the hankies when they ran out. Room service was expensive (as always) but the quality of food was good. All in all, it’s not a hotel I’d go rushing back to. I personally think the Novotel is a better choice in Liverpool, because of its location. I kind of thought the rooms in the Pullman would be more luxurious than they actually were. But there’s not much actually wrong with it. If you pay a good price (under £80) then it is certainly worth that.

Having never stayed at the Pullman before and being from Liverpool I decided to book a stay with my wife after a busy Christmas. The staff were very friendly and made a real effort to make us feel welcome upon arrival. The rooms were excellent, very spacious and we had a great view of the Albert Dock. We decided to dine in the restaurant and were very impressed with the service and speed of the food coming out. We rated the food very highly one of the best meals we have had in a long time and very good value, We ordered a Steak and Chicken dish along with sides and wine, all for less than £100. Breakfast in the morning had plenty of choice and was very tasty, again service was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again, very close to parking and everything you need in Liverpool. Massive thanks to Sarah Louise-Kelly and the whole team at the Pullman.

Decent stay!

We stayed on New Year’s Eve, and the man on the front desk who checked us in was lovely and we got let into the room early (all of staff were very friendly throughout our stay). However, the room was quite warm despite the air con always being on cool settings, the room wasn’t overally big and there was only one robe, the lighting is not the best and the bar area food is quite overpriced. We paid £9 for fries with some bacon on, and they came with this quite gross pink sauce all over them. A small glass of apple juice (half filled with ice) was also £3. Overall, the staff were lovely and location and view is great! But wouldn’t rush back.

Fantastic hotel in a brilliant location. The staff are excellent and always welcoming. We’ve stayed here many times and have consistently had great experiences. Breakfast is good — some days better than others — but there’s a good choice and a relaxed atmosphere. One small suggestion would be to ensure a dress code at breakfast, as we did notice the odd guest in pyjamas. Our room on the 8th floor was clean, exceptionally quiet, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only minor issue was the air-con/fan, which wasn’t quite right and made the room feel very dry and slightly uncomfortable to sleep. That said, we had a fabulous two-night stay, as always.
