An Excellent Experience

I stayed here one night with business colleagues and we entertained some guests in the restaurant too. My room was 7th floor with a lovely view of the Mersey, the Liver Building, the docks and the big wheel. The room was extremely comfortably with nice carpet and plenty of space. The bathroom was large with an excellent walk in rainfall shower and there were plenty of big white fluffy towels. I slept extremely well and although the hotel was busy it was silent throughout the night. If there is one thing to criticise it was no 'dressing table' ie space with a plug and a big mirror to sit down in a decent light for styling hair and makeup. The hairdryer also had no medium speed: it was either very slow or way to fierce. We ate in the restaurant with colleagues, seven of us, and everyone enjoyed the food which was varied and tasty and well served by waiting staff. Breakfast was exceptionally good, lots of choice hot and cold. Would I stay here again ? Yes definitely, it was an excellent experience, thank you.

Favourite hotel for short breaks. Wheelchair accessible.

This has become our favourite hotel for weekend breaks. My wife is wheelchair (powered) bound and all of the rooms and communal areas are all easily accessible. I have lost count of the number of times we have stayed (at least 5) and have booked a further 3 night stay this October. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The chap (sorry cannot remember name at this moment!) who runs the breakfast has been particularly helpful. Easy walking (riding) access to the restaurants in the docks, and the city centre. It is also a short drive to Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet (good for Christmas present shopping). It is next door to ACC Liverpool (conferences and events) with an enclosed walkway from the second floor (we initially first discovered the hotel when I attended a conference). There is a drop off area in front of the hotel and parking in a separate multi-story car park 1-2 minutes walk away (discount if staying at hotel). Suspect we will be visiting many more times in the future.

Good for a mini break in the city

The location was great, a 20 minute easy walk into town with lovely views. Parking easy next door (not included with hotel but discounted rate). Bed wasn’t particularly comfy - already had a topper on a mattress that looked and felt VERY old, room was spacious. Breakfast was nice but front of house and waitress service extremely slow. We had finished out breakfast before anyone asked us if we wanted a hot drink - and I asked the front of house twice and she just kept saying someone WOULD come to serve us at the table. On the whole though a nice hotel.

I came here a few days ago for a work meeting, including use of the conference facilities and spending a night in a room. Firstly, huge thank you to the superb staff at the hotel - Sarah for helping with the group booking, and Kieran on the front desk for getting our team checking in quickly. The hotel is stunning - really nice rooms with great views of the Liverpool skyline (esp. from a higher floor). The bed was super comfortable and the room was really quiet throughout. What a lovely place to stay and we would definitely have another event here. Great hotel, great staff, great location!
