We have stayed at this hotel every year and have so many wonderful memories from this place. This year, my husband is suffering from dementia, so we required special care during our stay. The staff went above and beyond to support us, and we are deeply grateful for their kindness and assistance. Jonathan, Tatna, Uzman, and Karina were there for us at all times, ensuring our comfort and providing exceptional care. Thank you for making our stay so much easier during this challenging time.

I go to Edinburgh Christmas market every year before it gets too busy. My sister had never been so decided this year to join me. From the moment we walked into the hotel we were met with kindness, helpfulness smiling faces and professionalism. Nothing was too much trouble, we were even told where to catch buses and some interesting places to visit. All of the staff we came across were good, in particular Jonathan, Aiden and an Italian lady who we didn’t get the name of. The hotel was spotlessly clean although we found the corridors a little dark so not very good for anyone with sight problems. The left were clean and worked well, they were fast and we never really had to wait. The hotel rooms were really clean and the towels were lovely. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were all small, but we don’t spend much time in the hotel room when we are away so it didn’t bother us.

Booked for my daughter to celebrate 18th birthday. Initially booked a standard room but I popped in a few days before and upgraded to the Works with balcony. Feedback: great time was had. Staff friendly and a lovely touch of a birthday card in room on arrival. Location ideal being near the Dome where they had dinner and St James Quarter for shops the next day. Unfortunately breakfast missed after all the celebrations but I’m sure will return in the future. We really wanted a nice safe, modern, friendly hotel with central location and Ibis Styles delivered thanks to all.

Our room was clean and warm but very very small. The room is not designed for two people and their cases. A large person would struggle in the bathroom. The bathroom had body gel, shampoo and hand wash. Breakfast was continental so breads, muffins, fruit, cereals, anchovies loads of hams, cheeses, hummus, salmon etc. They had almond and oat milk which was good, Great location, quiet and central.

Our building was previously a bank and while this adds character, it does mean some of our rooms are more compact. We aim to provide accurate descriptions on all booking platforms to ensure our guests are aware before their arrival.
