Pros: > Location - it is central and within walking distance to most of the main sights around the city center. > Big rooms with ample space for luggages/bagpacks. Great shower with strong water pressure. The rooms facing the street are actually quite quiet (we’ve been in much worse). > Breakfast is adequate as noted by others and there is a water refill machine which is great. Cons: > The TV in the room needs upgrading to Smart TVs - probably a must have in this day and age for a hotel of an international brand. > Also, there is a lack of plugs by the bedside for charging of devices (we found some under one bedside table..okay for us but not the most convenient of locations). > The pool is small but lovely, however can only accommodate no more than 10pax at any given time, not ideal for a hotel with so many rooms. > Gym is small with no floor space for more than one person using the free weights. Our biggest gripe was the inability to pay in USD via debit card, something that we have done in other boutique hotels around Chile (and South America). This meant that the traveller has to choose to pay a 19% tax if paying in Chilean Pesos (via debit or credit) or pay a credit fee if paying in USD. For an international brand like Accor/Mecure, this just seems absolutely absurd. Would hesitate to recommend…

The employees at the reception don't know English well and they were also not ready to listen.To check in took more then 1 hour because of that.

The hotel is in a central location on a very busy street and is safe during the day but even the hotel staff suggest you not walk too far at night - take a cab instead. The hotel has a security guard at the entrance. We arrived very early morning and were advised our room might be ready in 2 hours....we returned, not ready for another 2 hours, still not ready and even after the normal check in time, we had to wait an additional 1 1/2 hours. No apology for the dely, no offer of a free drink etc. In fairness, they did say early check in may not occur but if they had said our room wouldn't be ready for 8 hours we would have gone and toured the city. The room we had was on a high floor but you could still hear city noises - think NYC. Room size was fine, room was clean so no complaints there. The pool is on the roof top and not very big for the size of the hotel. We dined at the hotel restaurant our first night and had excellent service and the food was good overall. We returned another night and had a horrible dinner - service was extremely slow, 2 of the dinners that were served (in a group of 6 people) were uneatable. The server we had the first night saw us waiting and came over to apologize - she also had the manager come to our table and translated for the manager - no offer of of a free drink, dessert etc to compensate for the lenghty service delay and 2 of our group didn't have dinner. Very unsatsifactory service! Breakfast was included and was good overall - nice variety but get there early as they close up everything at their closing time - no chance to get food one minute later. The price was reasonable but next time would pay more for hopefully better service.

Overall, the hotel is ok. The receptionist was attentive and the room was comfortable. It is in walking distance to restaurants and tourist attractions. The security guard was weird with me. He always had a comment that didn’t make sense. For example, check out is 12pm. I entered the hotel at 11am and he decided to remind me about the checkout time. Why was I so special? It wasn’t like he was going to help me with my luggage. On other occasions, I noticed he would converse with other guests, but not me. Due to his behavior with me, I won’t be staying at this hotel again. Thank god I changed hotel.
