Thank you "sydfam65" for taking the time to review your stay at Mercure Charlestown. We appreciate our guest reviews as they help us to refine our offerings and service to best suit our guests. We are so pleased that you enjoyed our bay area and pool, it's a great outlook over the bushland and the distant view of Stockton beach. Thank you for your feedback about the improvements you think are necessary, we are sorry that these did not meet your expectation for this stay. We have a program for reviewing and replacing our mattresses and pillows so, I am sorry that this didn't meet your expectations this time. For future stays we would welcome you to contact our friendly staff, as your comfort is very important to us and we do have a selection of alternative pillows, if the ones in your room are not as you desire. It would also be really helpful for you to contact our reception (email: desk@mercurecharlestown.com.au) so we can determine which room you were staying in and assess it accordingly. Our bathroom doors have been installed in a professional manner to consider privacy, however, if you have noticed a gap, it may mean that it requires a maintenance repair.
