Little solo trip.

Check in was super easy. The gentleman that served me was super lovely, nice and happy, what you expect from great customer service (unfortunately didn't get his name) Was staying for a concert and tennis and the front doors lock late at night and just need your key to tap back in. Quick walk to Rundle Mall and the hotel entrance is on Grenfell street, so plenty of public transport around and they do offer car parking. There is a $150 incidental fee that is taken on check in and refunded at checkout. The room was average sized but everything you needed and was nice and clean. It said it was a queen room, but its two singles combined. There is a pillow top but I kept rolling into the middle during the night and wasn't the greatest sleep. Plenty of counter space. Bathroom was a tad small. I found the toilet roll holder in such an awkward spot. Shower had good water pressure. All the power points seem to be on the one side unless you pull the bed out and unplug the light that's under the bedhead and use that. Would also recommend ear plugs. I can hear other doors opening/closing, water running in other bathrooms, and the air conditioner. And an eye mask, cos the light from under the door lights up the room a little bit. Window faces towards buildings and Grenfell street. Don't think people will be able to see in but I find making sure the curtains are closed before changing to be safe. On that note, great blackout curtain. Would stay again. Didn't get to try the gym, restaurant or laundry facilities.

Excellent and very clean hotel. Great location with numerous bars and restaurants nearby and the Oval only 25 minutes walk away. Breakfast and main meal food very good here and the staff super friendly and helpful. Overall would recommend and like many other places in Australia plenty of gluten free options.

Stayed here for 3 nights during the world beach volleyball championships. Very good price compared to other hotels in Adelaide. Staff friendly, check in and out was good. However, I noticed during the stay there were big lines for check in and check out. Stayed in a superior city view room. The only issue I had was set temperature of the interior of the hotel. It was very warm, so had to constantly put the air con on in room. I’m also pretty sure they have rats in the walls, only saw some in the alleyway. There is vending machines on each level, however they don’t work. I had buffet breakfast in their restaurant. I thought the buffet was quite average, however, when I tried the buffet at the sofitel, I thought the ibis did quite well.

Additionally, we check our vending machines daily and besides the odd product getting stuck (which we replace), we have experienced no recent issues that prohibits the functioning of the machine. I do apologise if this was the case however. Regarding your concern about pests, we take cleanliness and maintenance very seriously. We have a pest control company visit regularly and have traps around the hotel. We have not had any recorded rodents in the hotel. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed our buffet breakfast and found it favorable compared to other options.
