Lovely hotel - reasonably priced. Literally across the road from the fireworks. Staff were lovely and welcoming and could not have been more helpful.

Cannot fault the location, opposite the station, a stones throw from Elder park and the river. The hotel is a shadow of it's past, however, for a short break it is more than adequate

I have stayed here before as location is good, rooms comfortable, staff are helpful. It is on North Terrace so short walk to Rundle Mall. Botanic Gardens, Zoom, Museum, Oval, Casino, beautiful river all accessible.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was disappointing. The air conditioning was extremely noisy, and there was no way to control it other than a simple fan dial with no ability to set the temperature. The bar fridge was also loud, adding to the overall noise level. There was a dangerous step leading into the bathroom with no warning signage making it a trip hazard. The room itself was very dark, with a window that had been painted over because it faced what appeared to be an alley- there was no natural light at all. Light from the hallway also shone under the door, making the space feel even less restful. Overall, the combination of noise, trip hazards, and lack of light made the experience disappointing. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
