TRAVAUX DE RAVALEMENT je viens d'annuler ma réservation de 15 jours en mars parce que j'ai découvert par hasard qu'il va y avoir des travaux de peinture sur l'immeuble de décembre à juin ! échauffadages obstruant les fenêtres, bruit de chantier... l'info n'était pas sur le site accor mais sur le site direct de quay west. THE SEBEL QUAY WEST AUCKLAND – NOTICE OF RECTIFICATION WORKS Dear Valued Guest, From December 2025 until June 2026, painting rectification works will be taking place at The Sebel Quay West, Auckland. We understand the works may cause some inconvenience, and we apologize in advance for any disruption caused. Every effort will be made to minimise the impact on our guests with the following schedule implemented; • Work Hours: The works will be conducted from Monday to Friday, between 8am and 5pm. There will be no work carried out on weekends. • Noise Impact: We anticipate some noise impact as the work will be performed. We will provide regular updates on the progress of the works and notify you of any significant changes or delays that may occur. We greatly appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we undertake these necessary rectification works. Very disappointed by the Sebel Quay West Auckland

My wife and I spent few days in this hotel in CBD Auckland. We were very disappointed. The appartements need to be refurbished and renovated. Don't expect to receive any recognition from your Accor status. If you are not satisfied or if you have a problem and you want to talk with a manager ? They would not talk with you and it seems there is no manager on duty after 5.00pm Forget it !

Stayed in room 704.. this room is very dated and the furniture, certainly need replacement. The balcony door is missing the lock and over 50% of power points, don’t work. Add the fact that only 1 lift is working, and I’m sure that we could’ve found better. The location is great, though let down by the building and accommodation.

We booked a 2 bedroom with 2 double beds on Expeodia. When we arrived the second room had 2 twins. We were told we didn’t specify the double beds . Expedia didn’t mention any option for twin beds. The lobby is lovely. You need to be buzzed in to get to front reception unless you have room key . The rooms are clean, somewhat dated. Heard some road noise from partiers on a Friday night - on 15th floor. Convenient location . Very spacious .

The room was very spacious and well appointed, although a little dated. The hotel is located close to the Viaduct. The floor I was on smelled very strongly of stale fried food, luckily the room didn't though. Parking was a little problematic - there were no clear instructions given when booking (other than a note that spaces are limited, so not guaranteed and unable to be pre-booked). The parking building is behind the actual hotel and requires a room swipe card. The parking building has very tight access as well.
