AC stuck at 14C, no maintenance people. Very tired hotel.

Not clean, tired and AC stuck on 14C. Phoned reception, answered after 5 mins, took message, no one attended. Came down to reception, advised no maintenance people work in the evening. Nearly $400 per night, strange experience. I recommend not staying here.

This hotel is poorly maintained. The main atrium is nice but the rooms very old and musty. Dusty shelves and dirty cups. Says 4 star hotel, but i beg to disagree. Roof top pool not properly maintained. Too dirty and cloudy to swim. Encountered nice staff, but not all were approachable. Great location though. Its just an old hotel building.

The toilet continues to flush the whole time we were there in room 918, we reported it every day over the four nights. The buffet breakfast and cafe restaurant were fabulous. the pool a little chilly. We call maintenance to fix the air conditioner also an found that when they said they could accommodate for 1 extra person in the room there was nowhere for them to sleep so we had to book another room for our stay?

Would not stay again. Room was damp and TV did not work.

This would be one of the worst hotel experiences we have had, Arrived at the hotel and checked in for 5 nights. When we got out at the lift the smell of dampness was very noticeable and it was even worse in the room. The carpet was damp in places and the TV did not work. Went down to reception and asked to change room. We were told this was not possible at present but may be in a couple of nights time. At this stage we asked for our money bank so we could go to another hotel. This was declined. After a couple of nights we were shifted to another room which was marginally better however the TV did not work properly in this room either. We are in our 70's and do not understand how anyone can consider it safe to put people in a room like this. To top it off when checking out and heading to the airport we were told that a Taxi or Uber could not reach the hotel as all the streets around it were closed for a running race. This left us dragging bags to finds a street that was not closed to call an Uber. Why the hotel could not advise people of this the night before which would have given us (and other guests) a bit more time to leave for the airport.
