First time we have stayed at the Pullman at circular quay. Great location, the restaurant food was fantastic with a great outlook over the quay and harbour bridge. receptionist was extremely helpful. Will stay again and recommend this hotel

Paid for a Deluxe Spa room with champagne package however on entering the room, the spa did not work. Hotel did offer the use of a spa in a different room which wasn't suitable. Also requested champagne be delivered as early as possible as we had dinner plans yet despite numerous calls and assurances, it wasn't delivered for several hours. Hotel was apologetic and did waive parking costs for the spa inconvenience. Issues continued after check in having been charged twice for the room. Hotel is still attempting to resolve the issue however shouldn't have happened in the first place. Overall disappointing stay however on a positive note, Hacienda Bar and Q-Dining were great venues.

Jason, Rick, Ruth, Davis and many other made my stay great. A great thank you to the friendly and helpful staff. Due to my Accor Platinum status I got complimentary breakfast delivered to my room every day even though the restaurant was not running due to Covid restrictions. I was spoilt! I also booked a Deluxe harbour view apartment and the views were stunning. Can’t wait to book again soon 🙂

The residence I've been longing to book and stay, which has met my expectation in all aspects. Service was great. Felt welcomed and valued during check-in and check-out. Thank you! Breakfast was still quite limited due to COVID restriction. The shower room door can't close seamlessly. Please fix.

We are always happy with our stay at Pullman Quay Grand. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff again out did themselves. We left our wallet in the room after check out and they promptly called us and had everything ready in a secure envelope when we called in the next day to pick it up. We stayed in a one bedroom executive harbour view room. It has all been refurbished and looks amazing. I stayed with a friend from out of town so we didn't share a bed. I slept on the fold out lounge. Can I just say that it was the most comfortable fold out lounge I have ever slept on. I had a wonderful nights sleep.

This is our favorite hotel so far on Circular Quay. Just leave your car in the underground parking & walk or public transport is so easy from this location.. Great restaurants on the promenade are virtually at the Quay entrance to the hotel. A short walk around Circular Quay takes you to The Rocks area & Argyle Street for yet more food & drinking venues also the best Patisserie (Le Renaissance) The East Asian restaurant is a short walk towards the Opera house for the best food lunch or dinner.

As polite & courteous as the staff were, as a Diamond status we were not advised of breakfast details, late check out or any additional details at check in. Basically we were given our room key and told where the lifts were. In saying that, the room was clean and beautifully appointed, loads of space with everything we needed. Location is second to none but at $699 per night for a park view, the value was definitely not there.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - an easy walk Circular Quay train station, ferry wharfs and light rail, it was only a few minutes further to reach Martin Place station. Besides being conveniently located to transport the Opera House & Botanic Gardens are just outside the door for you to explore. Meals in Hacienda Bar & Q Restaurant were enjoyable & well priced.

Weekend show stay in Sydney

Came down from country NSW to see a show with family. Location first rate, service first class, room furnishings just looking a little tired, but we had a great time and my grandson especially enjoyed the pool. When we arrived several electrical circuits in our suite were not functioning due to a tripped fuse/switch, rectified immediately upon reporting to reception.

Spacious, well appointed but starting to show its age.

Check-in was easy and handled well by the efficient staff. We then went up to our room which was spacious, very well appointed but the carpet and furnishings were starting to show their age. The suite contained a laundry (washer and dryer), fully furnished kitchen and well stocked bar frig. Lounge area and a separate bedroom (also a work desk) bathroom with shower and spa bath complete with toiletries etc. Plenty of cupboard space, guest bathrobes and slippers. Breakfast in the dining room was delightful - overlooking Circular Quay and the Harbor Bridge -a beautiful outlook first thing in the morning. All in all our stay was most enjoyable and the staff were very pleasant and efficient. Would stay there again without hesitation.

My partner and I stayed here for a night with our 6 month old to celebrate 10 years together. We booked the 1 bedroom Harbour view apartment and loved it. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. Balcony had views of the Harbour Bridge and the ferries. Pool was nice and location is great. There is also access to Circular Quay from the property without having to go via Macquarie St. We will hopefully be back.

All great except the bed

We stayed here on a great rate we had a lovely one bedroom apartment overlooking the park. It was lovely apart from the fact that all our emails etc said it was a king size bed and its was not it was a queen or double bed so we had a very uncomfortable sleep as we are big people and need a king size bed. I emailed management on our return about this but received no reply which was very disappointing. Don't think we will stay there again because of this. the other staff on reception were great

This motel was perfect for our first weekend away this year. Great location and service and our room was perfect. We had a wonderful view of the harbour and bridge just the ferry’s did wake us up in the morning.

Great view but

Our room had a balcony with a sensational view over the quay however the room was not clean. There was a really suspect stain on the carpet next to the bed, some weird deposit on the wall of the bathroom and glass on the balcony. Unfortunately I did not notice any of this on the evening I checked in as I was very tired. The following morning I brought it to management's attention and it would appear they knew about the carpet. To be fair they did offer to change rooms but we just wanted it cleaned. This did not happen. We threw a towel over it and stepped around it. Our choice but I don't understand why this room was even given to us in the first place. We are gold Accor members and that made no difference. Further we requested a late checkout and when pushed they gave us till 1pm however we had "security" knocking on our door at midday to question why we had not vacated the room. All in all the balcony with the great view wouldn't be enough to get me back.

Good property but no breakfast during the week first apartment was not renovated which was a surprise as the first time I stayed there the same room I paid for the same price was brilliantly renovated the second time I stayed there the room was old with old carpet and smaller TV which was totally different to my first experience

We stayed for 2 nights at the Quay Grand last week and were very pleased with our choice. Although our harbour view room was still one of the rooms to be upgraded and was quite shabby in parts our overall expectations were more than met. With a wonderful view, decent sized balcony and very well laid out room, we were very happy with our choice. In a front row position on Circular Quay how much time do you need to spend in your room? Disappointed about no breakfast service and the restaurant being closed but under the present restrictions we understood the decision. The downside was the Hacienda bar. We went there for an afternoon drink last Sunday and were confronted by a loud noisy atmosphere. Although there was a scan sign in at the door there was no one policing it and people just walked in and out. When we arrived at about 5.30 we were told we would only be allowed in for one drink as last drinks were being served. While we were finishing our "last drink" we observed several large groups still being served. Also there was no policing of people staying in their seats. I assume that the Hacienda would be on a separate lease, but it would be better for the hotel to have their own bar area. But overall we enjoyed our stay and would compliment all the staff we met with their professionalism and service.

Overall it was pleasing to read about your room experience and I’m pleased to let you know that the bulk of our rooms are now fully refurbished which I’m sure will address your product feedback. In terms of your bar feedback we take this aspect very seriously. All of our staff are trained in the highest levels of Covid best practice; we adhere to our requirements around Covid marshals and also maintain a rigorous cleaning schedule particularly between seatings. We have regular inspections by external parties to manage all aspects of our Covid safe plans. Our large groups are generally on a package hence the service you witnessed but they to where told of the last drinks message. Beautiful view as expected. Well set out apartment. Valet parking went smoothly. Location unbeatable. Only negative was that breakfast area was too cold! All in all and exceptional property, have booked again for later this year.

I am so disgusted by this hotel - i will seriously reconsider ever staying in ACCOR Hotels ever again

SO before check in i had advised that it was my 50th Birthday during my stay. I am a gold member and subject to room availability an upgrade is applicable, I have never had to ask before, but as I was assigned to the garden view room I did ask if we had received an upgrade, she checked on the computer and there was no available rooms for the first night but was on the 2nd and 3rd night, so I checked that's complimentary being a gold member? She looked at me and said "there is no room upgrades on your status level. so If you want an upgrade the fee of $200 per night applies" I replied to look at the Accor site and look it up, which she did a search on there website and said "oh my mistake you are eligible for a complimentary room upgrade when available. But again nothing for tonight and we will see what we can do for tomorrow. I then replied if I had of known this I would have stayed at the Pier one where I would have got upgraded to a harbour suite with Balcony. She was then able to confirm that we would get an upgrade for the 2nd and 3rd night. Now heres where it gets interesting! I came back to the room and had my evening cigarette out on the balcony before bed - now I know its non smoking inside so I smoke a nicotine free E-Cigarette outside when in this situation, the following morning I went down to reception and said we were going out for the day and that we were getting our room upgraded, the man on reception looked down at me and said - you were smoking on the balcony last night - the lady who lives upstairs has severe allergies and she almost got rushed to hospital last night. THE HOTEL IS NON SMOKING, I replied I was never told the hotel was non smoking on check in - normally when outside there will be a sign or sticker if they are really strict. its also on my profile that I prefer a smoking room, so if you have someone checking in who is a smoker and then someone who lives above the hotel would you not tell the guest the whole hotel is NON smoking - including the balconies. I was treated like such garbage by this manager that my partner couldn't believe the way I was being treated - he said did you commit murder because that's the way he spoke to you, it totally ruined my 50th Birthday stay, every time I walked through the lobby I dreaded running into that man again. PS the dirty socks left behind was by previous guests was disgusting. The cake given by the hotel was also not transferred to the new room. Ruth at reception was lovely though!

In terms of complimentary upgrades you are correct your member status entitles you to this and again you are correct that it is based on availability. On the first evening we simply did not have harbour view rooms available hence the move on the subsequent evenings, I trust all other member benefits where received and that the hotel amenities sent up acknowledging your birthday where enjoyed. In terms of smoking I simply cannot and in 2020 will not condone this and simply brush it aside. Smoking in any Australian hotel including balconies has been a thing of the past for many years, not having a sticker on the balcony does not change this. There is clear signage in all rooms that the hotel is 100% non smoking. The video evidence and pictures taken by the concerned resident clearly show a normal cigarette being smoked, their health concerns are real and I will always put health and safety above all else. I am extremely sorry that addressing a health concern offended you, it was not intended however I hope you can appreciate my position and my role in looking after the health and wellbeing of all residents and guests.
