I really felt scammed at Ibis hotel KLCC.Registered on 11/6/25 and make a full payment about RM 1200 for my 4 night stay.I told them maybe if there is an emergency I would cut short my stay.The receptionist told me there was no refund.I called for the duty manager,he gave me same statement.This duty Aqmal was really a pain in assist at first arguing and being defensive.He left the desk and later came back a bit calmer. Those front desk receptionist especially the women are ignorant and cocky.The young man are more polite and accommodating. On 12/6/25 my son and I paid for a buffet dinner of RM 114.00 for two person.It was another horrible incident. I made a complaint to the management about the leftovers being laid out for in house guest.We came down at 7.30pm in dinner just started at 7.00pm.They had a lot of group function and catered to their needs only.The food was lousy with rice crusts left to eat.I complained to the staff and chef but was ignored. I told the front desk and called several times to makeup my room early on second day but only to find it messy because no one asked the room to do it. Those staff handling customer service are freaks.They are rude and always argue with me.The GM should fire them immediately ab=ng the resign!!! The GM should lift up and check these loopholes.Eventhought this hotel has an international name but it's image here is hopeless. On subsequent days,I left the hotel early for breakfast and only came back just to sleep.I wouldn't recommmend this hotel to anyone and won't come again infact they should compensate my worst nightmares and refund all my payment.Greedy management staff who robbed my hard earn money! During my check out day,I had to get trolley outside the hotel building to bring it in my room to put all my luggage from 28th floor to the check out counter.The housekeeping attendant refused to gave me more than 2pcs laundry bag to put my laundry .I have NEVER experience this kind of sh*t before.To make matters worst.....there is NO ROOM SERVICE !

Very good hotel for KL. Best for those who want to be in the centre of the city but not spend too much. The hotel is larger than most in the IBIS range. This one has a restaurant, swimming pool and gym. Many taxis do business here so it is popular. Due to the searing heat, although walking should be default many guests seem to take taxi just to go up the road. The hotel is one of the closer ones to Petronas Towers.

A very busy hotel, quite basic but suited our needs. Rooms are cleaned everyday, must out your service the room light on. A good choice of food for breakfast options. There is a roof top pool but no outdoor space for sun lounges due to cubic space. It was nice to come back and cool off. Near to the twin towers and KLCC park which is beautiful. There is a great street food place/restaurant next door, very friendly staff and fantastic food.

Housekeeping and room facilities need improvement

I stayed at ibis Kuala Lumpur City Centre during the Labour Day holiday. While the location is convenient, I was disappointed to find that the bed sheets in my room had not been changed before my arrival — they were visibly dirty. I informed the front desk, and they responded quickly by sending someone to replace them, which I appreciated. However, cleanliness is a basic expectation and should be ensured before check-in. Another downside was the in-room TV. It’s not a smart TV, the available channels were very limited, and screen casting was not supported. This made the in-room experience quite underwhelming. I hope the hotel can improve both its housekeeping and in-room amenities in the future.

Bad house keeping or front desk service!

I frequent patronise this property almost every month when I'm in KL. Today was quite upset on the service the hotel provided. (Knowing this property is 4 star and under Accor). My friend spills a packet of water with ice all over the floor and even affect the curtains. So I called the front desk (17 April 8.30pm) and Melissa answered and I told her the situation. She mention she will inform the housekeeping to attend. I waited 15mins and called back, and she mention she informed the housekeeping. I have waited for 45mins and there is still noone here. End up me and my friend clean the mess. We were hoping they help us in cleaning bcos they are sweet stuff and we can only use tissue and water to clean. Quite disappointed in this Accor property and I'm hesitant to come again.
