Room was hard to find due to inadequate external signage. TV turned on but had no signal as someone disconnected the cable. Housekeeping staff should check this sort of thing, plus eg lightbulbs, alarms on clock radios. Hotels dgenerally don't seem to leave space in wardrobe for guests belongings, nor usually is there anywhere in the bathroom to put guests toiletries. AND when do motels EVER de-frost the little fridges in the room?? In this room this time, TV remote didn't work properly, even after helpful staff member, apparently the only one on duty, tried to fix it by replacing batteries. On the plus side comfortable bed, good aircon, terrible shower with no place to put soap etc. Good price.

We stayed on a very cold Canberra day. The room was tired and the air conditioner was totally inadequate. We were still in coats an hour after turning it on. Instructions for the TV (Olympics time) were totally the opposite to how it worked or turned on. Staff member also seemed unsure. The fridge fell to one side due to broken piece underneath. We requested another room where the heating worked if turned to 30 degrees. Breakfast was basic but the staff member waiting on us was pleasant. The motel has no shops nearby so you need the car. The location was close to where we had an appointment but we wouldn’t stay again.

Great for few days stay. TV is kind of outdated though. No channels, all it has is some in house movies which works with a century old remote. Try to have a firestick of chromcast for entertainment. Its a leafy suburb.

Have always stayed here on our stays but this trip was the worst. Accessible room bathroom was fabulous but bedding and sitting area was 100% lacking, one chair to sit on, sound was unable to be heard unless you were sitting on the TV. Communication about resturant was lacking as all materials stated was closed come to find out was open.

Stayed 4 years ago and liked it very much. This time 13th April to 16th 2021 it did not come up to that standard. The place has detiorated and the cleaning was not up to standard. The lounge area at the bar were we had drinks was not vaccumed for three days. There was crumbs and mess on the floor which I mentioned to bar staff but it was not up to them and the manager was not available' It was finally cleaned on the morning we left. Meals were good even though the breakfast could have been kept hot as the bacon was cold and everything else luke warm and went cold very quickly. I appreciated the upgrade we were given to the Dame Mary Gilmore suite where the king size bed was very comfortable and the shower good . did not use the spa bath as being old we would not have been able to get out. Th whole place needs an upgrade and better housekeeping to maintain the standard that used to be there.
