Rooms are very small, No cleanliness, No refill of Amenities, Not a Value for Money, Not designed for a Holiday stay. Hotel staff just ask our name and straight forward handed over the room keys. No explanation given about hotel overview. The surprise element is there is no water bottle offered in room. Price Value Equation is totally negative. Room cleaning is not done despite informing them. Even Toilet seat is broken and they have not fixed till the time we had raised the voice. Above that ACCOR group do not take any responsibility to respond. I sent two messages but not responded. Also, hotel informed us that we will not get loyalty points because we had booked through agency. Overall brand has a negative image.

My stay here did not start well as the hotel messed up the airport transfer on arrival and I was left stranded at 0430. They did, though, apologide with complimentary fruit, wine and bottled water and a free airport transfer on departure. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable (not lavish but standard Novotel standard), although the desk was a bit small. Breakfast was good and the bar and restaurant were lively and provided a good selection of food and drinks. There is also a fairly well-equipped gym too which looks quite new (and a swimming pool, which I did not use). The location is also very central, though I did not have time to explore the city. I would be happy to stay there again.

I stayed at this hotel last October 2025. During my stay, I lost some money from my room. I noticed that the room had been cleaned while I was out, as several items were moved and the bed had been made. In addition, I also lost my phone charger from the room. When I reported this to the receptionist, her response was very unprofessional. She appeared frustrated, hit the keyboard. Overall, many of the staff were not hospitable, and the experience was disappointing.

Modern and nice hotel, it follows the same pattern you expect to find in a Novotel hotel. However, I got a little bit disappointed with the reception. They were not very friendly or attentive. We were 2 adults and 2 kids, during the check in they didn't mention anything, but just after they sent a whatsapp message asking if we wanted an extra bed. I answered yes, but nothing happened, not even an answer. Then, I asked in the reception for the extra bed, they said it would be charged, ok, no problem, but they charged only to put blankets on the sofa that was already in the room. In despite of that, the hotel looks very new, the breakfast is excellent, their restaurant was a good option for the dinner too. I liked the idea of giving an empty bottle in each room, wich you can fill with water in the corridor's filter, as you want. The room (bed, bathroom and shower) is very good. The location is great, just in front the square of a big conference hall (The Palace of The Republic), the famous and traditional Kazakhstan Hotel, and right next to the cable car to the Kok Tobe Hill, where many tourists and local people go the see the view, the sunset, etc...

Wasn't expecting much but was really impressed by the hospitality at this hotel. I only had one quick night in Almaty and chose this hotel because of its central location, but the staff made it an extra special stay. The reception staff and porters were absolutely awesome - so friendly, accommodating, and professional. When they found out that I needed to check out at 3AM due to an early flight, they proactively had the kitchen make me a to-go lunchbox since I wouldn't be able to make it to the onsite breakfast. Also really loved the filtered water stations spread across each floor of the hotel.
