I have stayed in this hotel 4 times already due to its convenience. However, i have to say that next time, I will choose a different hotel. First, amenities in the room are getting more and more limited: during my last stay we didnt get a kettle and tea/coffee in our room. We also had only one towel per person. No hand towel. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable the past time. The mattress is becoming used up, having a hole in the middle, pillows were so hard that you couldnt lay on them. People at the reception are more and more rude. Nightly rates for the room also increased. I used to love this hotel because of the convenient location at the train station, but next time I will rather try one of the other hotels in this location.

Regarding the amenities, as a 3-star hotel, kettles are unfortunately not part of our standard offering, but hot water can always be requested at the bar. We also apologize for the limited towels - ibis only provides one large towel per guest as standard, but additional towels are always available upon request at the reception. We’re sorry to hear about the discomfort of the bed and pillows, and we will look into these issues to ensure that our guests receive a comfortable night's sleep. Furthermore, your comments about the reception staff are concerning, as this is certainly not the standard of service we aim to provide, and we will address this with our team. Husband and I stayed 2 nights at the Ibis Hauptbahnhof Vienna. We got a room in the 2nd floor. The room is clean and spacious, and quiet considering the neighbour. The aircon was not working properly so it was two hot nights for us. It is a 3-star hotel, so it is no minibar or complimentary coffee. What the Ibis has going for them is a nice location, one minute walk from the Hauptbahnhof. The subway, the tram and the bus is close. We did not try the breakfast as it was very expensive.. instead we bought sandwiches and coffees at the Hauptbahnhof. What made it brilliant is that we had to catch the airport bus at 05:15 just outside. The receptionist at check in put a scare to us. She couldn not find the booking, which created a lot of fuss. Her colleague was thankfully able to find it. We are all in all happy have no regrets recommending it to others. It is an ok hotel and like mentioned is the location good.

terrible service with laundry, no one had a clue what was going on, took 2 days to get it back. water pressure so bad, ended up taking cold showers all the time. very disappointing, have stayed here often in the past. will reconsider future
