This is a beautiful hotel ,with luxurious settings. The main lobby has a very high ceiling and modern oval bathtub inside the hotel room. The night view is magnificient at night. The main feature we love is their buffet restaurant with a 360 view of the entire city. They offer variety of western ,chinese and yunnan cuisine. The fruit juices are individually processed, bottled sitting on ice. The beds,pillows are very comfortable Great place to stay!!

This hotel is very modern, and very big. The location is so-so with metro available on walking distance. The club lounge is very nice with very nice cocktails and good views. Now the less good points: Airconditioning didn't seem to work optimally. I had to change rooms after one night because my room would not cool under 25 degrees Celsius. This is unacceptable. The new room didn't go under 21 but I guess I had to live with this. Same AC issue raised at the gym, which made it more like a sauna. Another worrying point is that almost no one from the staff spoke English. Even in the club lounge. I mean come on, this is a sofitel from accor! Third annoying thing is that the points credited to accor didn't happen within a week and had to be manually requested. This sucks because these were my last nights before being platinum and this meant instead of actually being platinum in my next stay I was still gold. All in all I am not sure if I would recommend this hotel.

The room is very spacious, nice design and very comfortable. Upon check in notice that the minibar has a very strong durian smell. I reported it on the second day and it was being replaced timely. Special mentioned to Jessica from the front desk who assisted me with the check in. She professionally completed the check in and assigned me with a nice room. In addition, she helped me with some online purchase delivery issues that I had. She offered to call the customer service and made necessary arrangement for the items to be routed to the hotel during my stay. Really appreciated her kind gesture. Also very thankful to Eric from concierge. As I have online purchased items that were kept in the “storage” place about 10 mins walk away from the hotel, he actually walked with my daughter to the place personally instead of just showing the direction. He is courteous and helpful throughout my stay. He greeted us whenever he saw us in the lobby. I had a truly memorable experience on my last destination of my Yunnan trip. Thanks to all the team member whom I met, including the housekeeping staff who kept my room sparkling clean daily.

It certainly is one of the best hotels we stayed in china The room is spacious with spectacular view of the entire city The bed,and pillows are comfortable. The breakfast buffet is amazing,with the restaurant located near the top floor with a 360 degree view of the entire city. The food variety is excellent with both local and western style cuisine.....after the breakfast there is no need for lunch!

I have been here on November 2023 so the hotel is great with the nice room with completed amenities. I love the size of room it is good and enough space to relax also the bed is crazy I can deep sleep for whole night. Staffs are very helpful and tried to response me in English even they are not fluent much but they tried to understand what I need to know. Breakfast was variety of dishes and coming with good tastes especially the panoramic view from the restaurant at the roof top. I will be back to stay if I back to Kunming 🙂
