We had a great time at Mercure Koh Samui, we stayed in the Garden wing, which is the old building, but rooms are still beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast was good with a good range of western and Thai options. The pool in the beach wing is amazing, we spent most of the time there. Cocktails of the beach bars were really good too, we made the most of the happy hour offered between 1pm - 5pm. My only suggestion would be to include more vegan options on breakfast (plant-based milk or yoghurt, diary free sweets) and restaurant menu, unfortunately we couldn’t try any of the local dishes offered there as everything had dairy or eggs, and there weren’t any tofu alternatives available. Overall we had a great stay and we will definitely come back in our next visit to Koh Samui.

We stayed there in total for five nights, in both locations i.e., beach side and town side (i.e., across the road). The location was very good, not smack in the middle of the action which was a 10 mins walk away. The pools, pool bars and direct access to the beach were great. The breakfasts were excellent too. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely too with good aircon.

Once again staying at Mercure chewang in koh samui, pool is now fully operational and spectacular with beach side location, as an accor member the staff could not be more accommodating from duty manager to beach bar and restaurant staff. Had a small issue with breakfast for one of our party and was dealt with very well and was much appreciated. I stay in many accor hotels and this one is fast becoming a favourite, many thanks Michael

Now at the Mercure Samui Chaweng Tana. A 4* property Nice and Clean property in good shape. The room are ++ and the bed is a realy good hotel beds 5+. Good and easy AC, big and nice shower. We booked a "Deluxe Room with 1 Double Bed Pool View Beach Wing" and get "Deluxe Room with 1 Double Bed Sea View Beach Wing", so only a view upgrade. A bit of a Disappointment Good: Crew is really good and serviceminded. Always a smile and a quick response. Bad: The pool is renovated but not in use yet, should have been ready on 1 of December. Bar prices are high. About 300-400% + compared to outside the hotel. Complimentary two 0,5 liters waterbottles included in roomtaxes for a room for two people. If you need to use the light in bathrom you have to light up the room in same time. NOT so good... Wellcome amenities was some candys and fruit in the room. Welcome drink were cocktails, wine, beer or softdrinks as your choice I will return when possible so I can see it when the pool is working.

Best thing about this hotel is mainly the location as on a great swimming beach! Deluxe rooms are nice, modern and clean but overpriced. Along with overpriced food and drinks (happy hour is still expensive). Staff at breakfast are not friendly and early checkout breakfast a total waste of time, so don’t bother! Nice hotel but surrounded by many other nice places on same beach. Do your research people!
