Hard to beat for value for money

Outstanding value for money for a beachfront hotel. We stayed here for 1 night before departing on our early morning flight back to Bangkok. We stayed here about 8 years ago and couldn’t believe all those years later how it for still such incredible value for money. The price has barely changed. Located on a beautiful beach and it has a swimming pool with a view of the ocean, this hotel is excellent value for money. Rooms and resort is basic - it’s an Ibis after all but location is great and value is incredible. Located a few mins drive from fisherman’s village this hotel was hard to fault for our stay. We would definitely stay here longer if time allowed. Only issue we encountered during our stay was the in room safe - we had a panic on our early morning 4am departure when the safe failed to open and we couldn’t get our passports out. It was touch and go if we would make our flight at one point. Front desk sent maintenance to our room within minutes and it took some time but eventually we got it open and made our flight. Service was excellent (it was an issue with the battery and even the override wouldn’t work) but all was resolved and we were hugely impressed at the speed to attend to help us. Lesson learnt to get the passports out the night before (a first issue for us) Overall we would recommend without doubt. Don’t go here expecting luxury and you will have the best time for the price you will pay.

Really affordable, clean, modern complex located in a quiet location but within reach of the entertainment and food hubs of Fisherman’s Village and Chaweng Beach. Staff are exceptional. Molly at the reception is truly outstanding with her customer care. She went out of her way to help reunite us with a missing suitcase. She contacted the airport several times for us and because of her we were soon reunited with our suitcase. Top marks all around and a big shout out also to the all the cleaning staff, receptionists and staff at pool bar who took care of us. Highly recommended and I will certainly return.

Very nice experience the stay at Ibis was perfect. Facilities are top class - clean, new, and with plenty of offerings (multiple pools, restaurants Beach,) Restaurants was delicious and good price Pool was big enough Be back again next year

The view of the hotel was great. It was near the beach and also had a small swimming pool. Though the room size was small our stay was comfortable. Their breakfast was good too with fresh pinapple and watermelon fruits. The variety of eggs was there too.

I miss the Mekong Mai Tais.

My daughter and I had a wonderful two weeks at the Ibis. Check-in ( and checkout) were a breeze. The room was perfect for our needs and was cleaned thoroughly each day. Breakfast was very good indeed with a wide choice of dishes. We ate at the on-site restaurant most days and very much enjoyed the food. The waitresses were a credit to the hotel and were extremely helpful and friendly. Every day there was a 2-for-the-price-of-one happy hour which we took full advantage of. I fell in love with the Mekong Mai Tais. You could not have been nearer the beach! One one occasion a couple of young kids walked past with a buffalo! The water was lovely and warm but a bit murky, so snorkelling would be better elsewhere on the island. I swam every day, both in the sea and in the hotel pool. One of the pools did not allow children and was a haven of peace, whilst the other was full of families having a great time. We went on a couple of excursions arranged through the desk in the foyer. I would certainly love to go back and my daughter agrees with me.
