Lovely setting in the middle of a golf course close to Wyong. Very professional and friendly welcome at reception with all the information you need. Status acknowledged. All staff were lovely. Rooms in the central building have access to underground parking (access via lift). I assume others use the large outdoor carpark. The room was typical Mercure but very spacious, great balcony with golf course and wet lands outlook. We had some minor noise from the golf pro shop below and we could always hear the music from the restaurant immediately below us. It was never loud, but it was there. If you want quiet daytime use of your balcony ask for a room away from the pro shop. If you need housekeeping there is a charge. Aircon and wifi worked well. Dinner in the restaurant was quite good and reasonably priced. The wine list was cheap (in price and quality). Breakfast was pretty good. Eggs cooked to order. Barista coffee and some à la carte items at extra cost.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Kooindah Waters. The setting was absolutely lovely with beautiful grounds and facilities. The restaurant for breakfast was great, I did not take advantage of the restaurant at night but heard from others that is was excellent. I had an apartment which was very quiet and the view over the golf course was stunning. The decor in some of the rooms is a little tired and it needs a spruce up but the room I had was recently updated and it was a home away from home. Easy free parking was also a bonus. The staff were amazing and very helpful, especially Tim on the reception and the wonderful maintenance staff that fixed my TV. Would most definately stay again.

We had originally intended to stay at Mercure Kooindah Waters for one night, but we ended up extending our stay for an additional night. This is a great hotel with a resort-style feel, backing onto the gold course. Our room was excellent, with a balcony and a very nice view, which made it all that much more pleasant. All the staff we came in contact with were excellent, each making us feel very welcome and appreciated. A special thank you to the chefs in Karinya's Restaurant for their assistance with our dietary requirements; and to Sam, Carl and Gloria for making our stay so memorable. Highly recommended.

Hotel in rustige omgeving maar absoluut geen vier sterren waard.

onbegrijpelijk dat dit hotel vier sterren heeft, in Nederland zou zo een hotel niet meer dan twee sterren krijgen. Waarschijnlijk speelt er mee dat er 2 zwembaden zijn en een golfbaan aan grenst. De kamer incl. badkamer is echt uit de zeventiger jaren allemaal, een matig bed. Het is een soort resort met een stuk of 6 kamers per gebouwtje en als je dan op de andere 5 kamers een invasie van Chinese mensen krijgt die daar ook nog eens gaan koken dan ruikt jou kamer naar een Chinees restaurant. Ook het inchecken ging niet echt soepel dit heeft wel een half uur geduurd.
