Good location near place Garibaldi , clean rooms but the day lady receptionist is very rude and not professional, can not give instructions and lack of manners

If you like to take a shower occasionally, then this hotel is nothing for you. As a frequent traveler (1-2 trips per month), I was amazed how bad a hotel can be for more than 120 euro per night that is not in the center of the city. We had a room on the 6th floor in which the water pressure was very low, still, just enough to get wet to wash ourselves. Unfortunately, as soon as someone else in the floors below us flushed the toilet or took a shower, the water pressure was completely gone and literally no water came out of the showerhead or water tap. I had to wait to rinse the soap from my hair until everyone else was done showering, which in a full hotel is not before 11:00. We were able to get another room on the second floor in which the water pressure was good. But… the amount of warm water seemed to be rationed through the day. With two persons, especially when having long hair, the second person always had to shower with cold water. On top of that, the walls of the bathrooms in both rooms were full of mold. The bathroom door is constructed in such a way that no fresh air can get into the bathroom and as a consequence, the walls and towels do not dry. Voila, a Nice recipe for mold. Using the toilet is hardly possible if you’re taller than 150 cm. The toilets are too close to the opposite wall to normally sit on them, very uncomfortable. The entrance key code changed on Monday without us knowing. If you’re going to come back late on Monday evening, you better ask for the key code before the reception closes. The hotel advertises with a swimming pool, but that was closed throughout the 8 days we stayed there. No compensation was offered.

Hot water for 3 mins or so in the morning, then gone , came and went throughout the day. Cold room, no heat from the air con inverter or the ventilator functions. Ugly, outdated room, cold uncomfortable tiled floor, tiny bathroom had mold in shower, at Too expensive , super basic. Construction outside starting before 8am , all day. Charged 25 euro for early check in despite accor all gold member. Some good : had mini kitchen with utensils, bed is comfortable, quiet at night.

Our room for four wasn't quite like the ones in pictures, which isn't uncommon. But the difference was quite striking. The room wasn't very well cleaned, and the mostly the staff was pretty rude. Then again, the price wasn't that bad compared to other hotels available on short notice.

A truly rediculious hotel with the ambiance of a half-way house. Check-in/out times geared to help the hotel not the guest, apology notices everywhere for poor water pressure, hot water shortages etc, surley reception staff, luggage rooms that are unavailable during the day, dirty carpets, dorm-room style studios and completely overpriced. It’s only redeeming feature is its location although there is massive construction on one side and a pre-school outdoor playground on the other so…
