Fajny hotel w historycznym otoczeniu, ale bez efektu "wow". Pokoje bardzo przestronne i z wygodnymi łóżkami. Spałem każdej nocy jak dziecko. Miła obsługa na recepcji. Łazienka nie była do końca posprzątana - za kranem były ścinki włosów po goleniu poprzedniego gościa, w rogu wielka pajęczyna, pojemniki na szampon, żel pod prysznic i chusteczki były puste oraz brakowało korka do wanny. Dokupiliśmy raz śniadanie i na razie się skończyło - smaczny bufet ale bardzo skromny, jajecznica kompletnie bez smaku o konsystencji galaretki (na pewno z proszku).

Szanowny Panie Macieju, Dziękujemy za podzielenie się swoją opinią na temat pobytu w naszym hotelu. Cieszymy się, że docenił Pan przestronność pokoi oraz wygodę łóżek, a także miłą obsługę na recepcji. Przykro nam jednak, że niektóre aspekty, takie jak czystość łazienki i jakość śniadania, nie spełniły Pana oczekiwań. Państwa uwagi są dla nas niezwykle cenne i zostaną przekazane odpowiednim działom. Staramy się zapewnić najwyższe standardy, dlatego opinie naszych gości są dla nas istotne. Hotel is lovely. Refurbished since our last stay. Breakfast fantastic. Staff very friendly. Recycling bin in room and reception, great not to have to take any home. Room serviced daily if you want it and plenty of tea and coffee provided. Bathroom shower gel and shampoo good quality and smells lovely. Bus to York close by. A warning though- Unfortunately Smart Parking now manage the car park so make sure you register your car on the terminal and get an email confirmation. Received a huge fine for parking at a former Best Western Hotel (now taken over by the Home Office) despite registering on their terminal. They offered zero customer service or compassion when I tried to appeal. Would have avoided the hotel had I realised the car park is now monitored, it is such a shame if any hotel customers are lost due to parking issues.

Some minor roadworks outside, nothing to do with the Hotel. Great parking. Lovely atmosphere in the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Diner menu was great and well priced. York centre was on a 10 minute drive away and easy to get to other places without much traffic. An excellent stay would recommend and we will certainly return. Great to see a hotel that welcome dogs. Room cleaned every day and very quiet. Great outside space for relaxing.

We stayed here because it was cheaper for us than staying inside York. It was not too much of a hassle to just make our own way into the city in the morning. The inside was dated but nice, my tap was a little stiff but it wasn’t a problem. We had a comfortable sleep and the breakfast was delicious! The staff were also lovely. There is also plenty of parking and the surrounding garden area is nice! Also Yorkshire tea is provided in the rooms.. yum
