Firstly I must recommend the food both in the evening and breakfast. Hot well cooked food - A credit to chefs and waitresses The hotel was clean, staff helpful and loved the gym I would recommend this hotel for all the right reasons It is in the middle of a retail park

Excellent bar and lounge, very modern and comfortable seating areas. Room was spacious and a nice big bed. Close to city centre for nightlife and days out. Far enough away as not to be disturbed by night crowds. Rooms cleaned daily if you want, we chose to go green and forgo daily cleaning. We were offered clean towels daily if we wanted. Food was very nice, would recommend to all. Not too over priced considering it was a hotel. Same as you would pay in a city centre restaurant. Breakfast was very good, all you can eat hot and cold counters. Counters were fully stocked with usual English breakfast items, cold counter had yogurts, fresh fruit, cheese boards and cold meats. If your breakfast is not included in your stay you can buy a vouchers on check in for £12 which we did. All staff were friendly and courteous, always happy to help when asked any questions.

I Stayed her last weekend with my husband and two children, the staff and their service was second to none. They couldn’t do anymore for us if we asked. The restaurant done outstanding meals we eat here every night. Will definitely stay in this mercure again! Highly recommended 😁

Lovely welcoming staff that go above and beyond, fantastic breakfast with lots of variety to suit all. Lovely clean rooms and a great atmosphere. All round perfect stay will definitely be visiting again soon. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
