Just had a bar lunch at the Mercure hotel willerby and would just wish to congratulate Nickie who took our Order and served our delicious food. Nickie has served us before and her customer service skills are excellent. She is personable , customer focused and extremely friendly and helpful.A real credit to the hotel and we will definitely visit more often. Thank you Nickie .

On arrival the receptionist was very confused and took a while to book in. We entered our hotel room with a not so nice welcome of pure smell of damp also the room was freezing, we had a look around and there was mold on the walls windows everything was rusted and out dated in the bathroom not very clean at all we got moved into another room and was exactly the same as the previous room. We walked down the stairs what was hard to find reception hardly any signs. I would advise anyone who is looking to stay to AVOID at all costs!!!!!! Not worth the money at all!

I am so very sorry to read about your experience. I know the team tried to offer you an alternate room but am disappointed that neither was to your liking. I do feel that your comments about mold and dirt are unfair as this is not at all a reflection on the experience of guests who stay with us.

Great staff and breakfast but rooms are basic and could do with a few little tweaks.

The room is quite basic and it was cold on arrival. There are a few things missing like a toilet roll holder, a mirror at the desk for sitting and doing hair etc, there are also no sockets next to the bed for phone chargers and my partners CPAP machine. There are no hooks in the bathroom for hanging nightwear etc. It was however, clean and tidy. The staff are very friendly and the buffet breakfast is excellent.

Mi estadía fue a finales de septiembre, en general el personal es muy atento, las habitaciones limpias pero la calefacción del cuarto no funcionaba bien, además una de las ventanas del baño no se podía cerrar. Levantarse al baño en la noche era pasar un momento incomodo por el frío. Las habitaciones tienen lo básico. El bufete supero las expectativas y aunque no varía día a día, tiene todo los elementos para armar el clásico y delicioso desayuno inglés. También cuenta con alimentos para veganos. No es un hotel lujoso, pero la calidez del personal, comodidad de las camas y la higiene del lugar te hacen pasar una buena estancia. Está muy cerca de varios restaurantes y supermercados, esta bien ubicado. El jardín es precioso.

The staff were so helpful and friendly, I couldn't fault them. The room was okay and the bed was comfortable, but it's a little tired and needs refurbishment. It was clean and tidy and the heating was good too. The bathroom had no toilet paper holder. It's in a nice location and fairly quiet. I slept well. The cooked breakfast was very good indeed, a wide choice, including fresh fruit etc. Again the staff were delightful and so welcoming. Linda who was usually helping out at breakfast really stood out. There are gym and swimming pool facilities so that's a real bonus! The staff are amazing, well done.
